"Gee" is the title track of the self-titled debut mini-album by Girls' Generation, a South Korean girl singing group under SM Entertainment Co. released on January 7, 2009, with lyrics and arrangements by E-Tribe.
On March 13, 2009, "Gee" won the ninth consecutive KBS Music Bank crown and the first half of the year's No. 1 spot; on December 10, it won Korea's 24th Golden Record Awards for Sound Source and Sound Source Grand Prize;
On December 16, it won the MMA Song of the Year Grand Prize; and on February 3, 2010, it won the 19th Seoul Music Awards for Song Source and Sound Source Grand Prize as well as Digital Sound Source Award.

Considering that Girls' Generation returned to the public after eight months, composer E-Tribe intentionally added lyrics with a lot of "Gee" from the beginning of the music until the chorus in order to show the group's innocent and lively charm. Gee, Gee, Gee, Gee, Baby, Baby, Baby" to catch the listener's interest, so much so that Girls' Generation's chanting of "Gee" is repeated 33 times in the song.
