Sailimu Lake, like a bright "sapphire", hangs high in the fault basin between the western Tianshan Mountains, surrounded by mountains, which set each other off. In the middle of winter, the Sailimu Lake is snowing heavily, covered in silver, and the snow is rushing. Lush pine trees and white snow complement each other, forming the magnificent scenery of the snowy plain in the north. In spring and summer, on the vast grassland near the lake, green grass, golden flowers everywhere, cattle and sheep like clouds, pastoral songs and yurts constitute a poetic picture of the ancient Silk Road, which can make people fully experience the romantic feelings of returning to nature and appreciate the long and unique national culture beyond the Great Wall. Sailimu Lake 1989 was announced by the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region as a provincial-level scenic spot, and the work of upgrading from provincial to scenic spot is already in progress.
Sailimu Lake can be divided into five areas in terms of tourist attractions and functions, namely 1 and Sailimu Lake water recreation area. Hudong Lake Guangshan Scenic Area. It is an ideal place to watch scenic spots such as "Golden Satin Mosaic", "Lovers in the Heart of the Lake", "Colorful Pure Colors" and "Golden Jumping Lake", with the grassland by the lake as the scene, the vast mountains and snow peaks as the background and the four islands in the lake as the background. 4. Hercynian grassland style mountaineering and hunting area. This area is located in the west of Sailimu Lake, surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the lake on one side. Sailimu Lake Scenic Area is connected to Alashankou, the first pass of Eurasian Continental Bridge, in the north and Horgos Port, the gateway of China and Kazakhstan, in the west. The Nadam Convention is held here in July every year, and Mongolian and Kazak herders in Fiona Fang of Baili Grassland get together, singing and dancing, holding traditional sports competitions and market trade activities.
