Early Years

Jenny was born in Gray, Indiana, U.S.A. On June 16, 1966, Jenny Jackson was born into a black family in Gray, Indiana, where she was the youngest of the family's nine children. The tenth child of Katherine Jackson and Joseph Jackson (one son, Brandon Jackson, died young) As the youngest of the Jackson family, while she was still a toddler, her older brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael formed the Jackson 5 to perform in nightclubs and theaters.

In March 1969, the Jackson Five signed a deal with Motown Records. The Jackson family's life improved with the success of the group's four No. 1 singles

under Motown Records. Although born into a musical family, Jenny grew up wanting to be a racehorse jockey more than an entertainer. She made her debut in her brother and sister's cabaret show at the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas in 1976. She then made her official debut as an actress on "The Jacksons," a CBS reality series depicting her family.
