Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 In order to better implement the requirements of the Ministry of Education to run schools according to law and "rule by law", and to effectively standardize the enrollment of full-time general undergraduate and specialized schools (hereinafter referred to as the enrollment), this charter is hereby formulated in accordance with the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Education" and "Law on Higher Education" and other relevant laws and provisions of the Ministry of Education, taking into account the actual situation of our university. Article 3 Students who have completed all the courses stipulated in the teaching plan and passed the grades will be issued a certificate of graduation by Wuhan Media College with state-recognized qualifications. Students who meet the requirements for bachelor's degree conferment will be awarded a bachelor's degree certificate by Wuhan Media College.

Article 4 The main categories of students enrolled in the school are those who take the unified examination for enrollment in national ordinary schools of higher education.

Chapter 2: Organization and Responsibilities

Article 6 The school has set up an admissions committee consisting of the main leaders of the school, heads of the relevant departments, representatives of teachers, alumni representatives and student representatives, which is responsible for the overall leadership of the school's enrollment work and the supervision of the whole process.

Article 7 The Admissions Committee has set up an office, which is specifically responsible for the school's enrollment work.

Chapter III Enrollment Plan

Article 9 According to the annual enrollment scale issued by the Hubei Provincial Department of Education, combined with the actual operation of the school, the school formulates the annual professional enrollment plan and the provincial plan of the source, and logs into the "national online management system of source plan for enrollment of ordinary colleges and universities", and after the competent department's examination and approval, it will be published in the enrollment provinces at the specified time and place. Chapter IV Entrance Examination

Article 11 Candidates applying for all majors of the university (including cultural courses for art majors) shall take the national unified examination for admission to ordinary schools of higher education.

Article 12 On the premise of obtaining the approval of the Department of Education of Hubei Province and the relevant provincial education departments and for the record, the school may organize its own professional tests for art classes in the relevant provinces.

Chapter V Rules of Admission

Article 13 Candidates admitted to the school shall fill in the volunteers of the school.

Article 14 There shall be no major grade difference in the arrangement of candidates' majors. Candidates' majors are determined according to their scores and major volunteers. If the candidates cannot satisfy all the major volunteers, they will be transferred to other majors according to their scores for admission if they obey the major transfer; if they do not obey the major transfer, they will be withdrawn from the file.

Article 15 The subjects to be chosen for the unified examination for admission to national colleges and universities shall be those announced by the competent educational authorities of each province.

Article 16 The university recognizes the extra points provided by the provincial admission departments.

Article 17 There is no restriction on the ratio of men to women for admission to the various majors of the school. The requirements for the physical fitness of the candidates are in accordance with the "Guidelines for Physical Examination for Admission to Colleges and Universities" and other relevant regulations.

Article 18 The principle of admission to the majors involved in the general arts and sciences categories: admission is made according to the file scores in descending order. To the unified examination or joint examination scores as the basis for admission of art-related specialties, Hubei Province, art and design, music, drama and film and television (acting) according to the Hubei Province, a combination of points; drama and film and television (broadcasting and hosting art, radio and television choreography, drama and film directing, drama and film and television literature) according to the cultural scores and the unified examination scores of the professional combined score Admission in the order of high and low; drama film and television directing, drama film and television literature according to radio and television choreography professional unified examination results admission, photography majors according to the unified examination results of fine arts and design admission; dance class according to the cultural scores of the college entrance examination and the professional unified examination results converted into a composite score of high and low order of admission, the candidates filing scores constitute: (college entrance examination cultural scores + preferred plus points) × 10-6 + professional unified examination results. Dance majors outside of Hubei Province are admitted from highest to lowest according to their professional scores, and all other art majors are admitted from highest to lowest according to their professional scores x 60% + cultural scores x 40% (except as otherwise stipulated by the competent authorities at the provincial level where the source of the students is located). The principle of admission to the relevant majors for which the University has organized professional tests for arts: under the premise that the candidates' cultural scores and professional scores of the college entrance examination have both passed the line, they will be admitted according to their professional scores from the highest to the lowest; under the condition of the same professional scores, the one with the highest cultural scores will have the priority of admission; the one with the same cultural scores will be admitted according to the order of the scores of the language, mathematics and foreign languages in the order of the highest to the lowest, and the scores of arts and sciences are ranked collectively. Article 19 The English majors of the University only recruit English candidates, and other majors are not limited to the candidates' foreign language, but the students will be taught in English as their first foreign language after entering the University.

Chapter VI Admission of New Students and Others

Article 20 According to the standard approved by the price department of Hubei Province in the current year, the new students are required to pay tuition and accommodation fees to the university at the time of enrollment formalities.

Article 21 Within three months of the new students' enrollment, the school will conduct a comprehensive qualification examination (including physical examination). Those who fail to pass the qualification examination will be dealt with according to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education, until their enrollment qualification is canceled.
