After 1953, he served as soloist of Northwest Song and Dance Troupe and Gansu National Song and Dance Troupe, founder of Qinghai Provincial Mass Art Museum, vice chairman of Qinghai Branch of China Folk Literature and Art Research Association, and president of Qinghai Huaer Academic Research Association. Famous for singing "Flowers". He is the author of Selected Flowers.
On February 22nd, 2007, at 2: 10, Kao Zhu Zhonglu died at his home in Xining, Qinghai. Zhu Zhonglu, the 85-year-old Kao, is gone, and the era he represents is over.
1922 was born in Tongren county, Qinghai province. He is an older generation of Hehuang Huaer singing artists and is known as the "King of Huaer". In the early 1950s, he went to Beijing with the northwest ethnic delegation to attend the first National Day Gala. At the meeting, he sang Hua Er's "He Zhou Daling" and "Going Up the Mountain to See Pingchuan", and then participated in the first national folk music and dance performance, and sang Hua Er and the wine song "Galaoman", which was a great success. Since then, Zhu Zhonglu has embarked on the artistic road of professional flower singing, and has worked in Northwest Art Troupe, Shaanxi Song and Dance Theatre, Gansu National Song and Dance Troupe and other units. 196 1 was invited to China Vocal Music Institute for further study. He was exposed to the vocal methods of western science, enriched his singing expressive force, and became more mature in art. During the Cultural Revolution, "Hua 'er" was banned, and Zhu Zhonglu was sent back to Qinghai to supervise the reform. 1978 after being rehabilitated, he was assigned to work in the Qinghai Provincial Museum of Mass Art. 1986 Gansu Audio-visual Publishing House published four flower tapes for him, such as Zhu Zhonglu's Singing Album and Sister gave me a half heart. Zhu Zhonglu learned to sing at an early age and learned from others, thus forming his own singing style. His voice is straightforward, combining rigidity with softness, with authentic charm, and his singing is full of Shan Ye flavor, giving people a feeling of high altitude.
"Flowers" are words from the heart.
On the morning of February 27th, 2007, the reporter came to the Conservatory of Music of Northwest Normal University and interviewed Mr. Zhang Junren, Dean of the Conservatory. Since 2000, Mr. Zhang has been devoted to research and is the last disciple of Mr. Wang. He once wrote Zhu Zhonglu, the King of Flowers-a Folk Singer in Anthropological Situation (this is also his doctoral thesis). He told me what he knew about Mr Zhu Zhonglu. He thought that Zhu Zhonglu was recognized as the "Flower King" by the masses at that time and was an outstanding representative of the art of "Flower".
Zhu Zhonglu was born in Yong 'an Village, Baoan Town, Tongren County, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. Zhu, his grandfather, was born in Zhujiabao, Dabeiyuan, Hezhou, Gansu, and fled to Tongren, Qinghai during the Tongzhi War in the late Qing Dynasty, when he was only 13 years old.
Tongren is located on the edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is an area where farming culture and nomadic culture border. Since ancient times, it has been a place where many nationalities and cultures collide and communicate, and it is also one of the most developed areas of "Hua 'er" music.
Mr. Zhang Junren said: There are three people who have the greatest influence on Zhu Zhonglu. The first one is Zhu Zhonglu's father Zhu Duan. Zhu Duan is not only good at the ancestral cobbler craft, but also a master of singing "Flowers". Mr. Zhang Junren said: "Zhu Zhonglu's father always takes her (Zhu Zhonglu's nickname) when he goes out, which makes him contact with" flowers "since he was a child, and also makes him have a strong interest in" flowers ". Zhu Duan taught Zhu Zhonglu that the first song was Daling, Hezhou, "Climbing a high mountain and looking at Pingchuan". "
In Yong 'an Village, there is also a master singer of "Hua Er". His name is Grandpa Dove. His surname is Wang, and he can sing many beautiful Flowers. Many researchers call him king. There is also a folk artist, Blind Buddha Treasure. This blind Buddha treasure has traveled all over the country and is well informed. Following him, Zhu Zhonglu's vision has been greatly expanded. Following these folk artists, his level of singing "Hua Er" improved rapidly. When he was a teenager, he became the famous "Hua Er" in Balitun, the four townships. Zhu Zhonglu went to the primary school in the village at the age of 12. A few years later, Zhu Zhonglu was admitted to Tongren County School with the first place in his composition, and more than a year later, he was admitted to Kunlun Middle School in Xining, Qinghai. I laid a solid foundation in this middle school and got to know the school's music teacher Wang. Zhu Zhonglu wrote many poems and sketches in Kunlun Middle School, and also filled in some "flowers".
Mr. Zhang Junren believes that Zhu Zhonglu can be called "Kao Hua" because of his profound knowledge of traditional culture, which is due to his study in Kunlun Middle School.
A world-famous song.
1949 In September, shortly after the liberation of Xining, Zhu Zhonglu enrolled in the Third Division of China People's Revolutionary University (hereinafter referred to as the Third Division of Revolution), which is a crash school specializing in training minority cadres and located in Deng Jia Garden. 1August 950, they will graduate from this period. At the graduation party, Zhu Zhonglu sang loudly. His singing aroused the interest of musicians Guan and Chen Chuanjing who attended the graduation party. With their help and guidance, Zhu Zhonglu got a new understanding of the folk art "Flower". Prior to this, Zhu Zhonglu was invited by the newly established Gansu People's Broadcasting Station to perform a live concert on June 1949+00. This is the first time that "flowers" have spread to the outside world by radio waves.
"He is not only an excellent singer, but also an excellent author and researcher. He published papers in various journals all his life, with at least 150 comments. An amphibious' flower' artist like Zhu Zhonglu who combines singing, creation and research is unprecedented in the history of' flower' art. "
In fact, in the following years, he created most of many "flowers":
1950 National Day, Zhu Zhonglu sang his Qinghai new songs "Flower" and "Chairman Mao is Our Parents" at the "National People's Unity Party" held at the Xiannongtan in Beijing, which made the "Flower" debut in Beijing for the first time. 1952, sang three "Flowers" for the film "The Sun Shines on Hongshigou", and put "Flowers" on the screen for the first time.
1953, as a representative of northwest China, he walked into Zhongnanhai singing "Wall" and was received by leaders of Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai and other countries. China Record Publishing House also released his songs "Hua Er", "Looking Up at a Mountain to See Pingchuan" and the wine song "Galman", which is the first record in the history of "Hua Er". After the performance, he came again.
1954, he compiled Selected Flowers, which is the second book related to flowers in the publishing history of China.
1In the autumn of 957, Zhu Zhonglu participated in the 7th World Youth and Student Festival held in Moscow. Flowers and Teenagers has been appreciated by foreign friends and won a reputation for the motherland. At the closing ceremony of 1 1 Asian Games, a large-scale song and dance of "Flowers and Teenagers" was displayed in front of hundreds of millions of audiences, winning glory for our country.
The lingering sound is a swan song.
Zhang Junren believes that Zhu Zhonglu can be called "the king of flowers" because of the most important things he did in these "flowers" and his series of arrangement of "flowers". With the strong support of Guan and others, he named "Hezhou Order" as the one with the widest spread, the most varieties and the greatest influence.
In this classification, according to the music style, the Hezhou Order is preliminarily classified. At the suggestion of Zhu Zhonglu, the original long tune "Climbing the Mountain and Looking at Pingchuan" was named "Hezhou Order", and other tunes were divided into "Hezhou Second Order" and "Hezhou Third Order" respectively. Among the many "Flower" tunes adapted and created by Zhu Zhonglu, the most striking ones are Xia Chuan and Flowers and Teenagers.
Mr. Zhang Junren said that "Down Sichuan" was originally a folk song popular in Longdong and Liupan Mountain in Ningxia. 1953, Zhu Zhonglu collected this folk song from Lixian County, Gansu Province. The exact words at that time were like this:
"The sheep grazed on the roadside, I sang folk songs out of tune, and the shopkeeper killed my lamb with a kitchen knife."
"This song was completely changed by Mr. Zhu Zhonglu's adaptation. Although the original melody theme has formed a common three-stage structure, the lyrics have been recreated in Hezhou in the form of' flowers', presenting brand-new content. "
/kloc-in the winter of 0/956, in order to welcome the coming national professional music and dance performance, Zhu Zhonglu, composer Lu Bing, dancer Zhang Xinmin and others created the song and dance Flowers and Teenagers. The basic material of this lyric song and dance is taken from folk music. Among them, the dance moves come from the folk fire' Eight Singles', and the music comes from three folk songs: Meet the Blue Bridge, Tune of Four Seasons and Tune of Five Seasons.
"Zhu Zhonglu provided the above music, dances, costumes, props and other materials, and wrote the lyrics in the format of" flowers "that he was most familiar with. Except that the Four Seasons Song was written by Shi Dianfeng, most of the rest appeared in the form of Hezhou "flowers". "
Without familiarity and understanding of Gan Qing folk music and culture, it is impossible to provide suitable creative materials. For the Northwest Song and Dance Troupe at that time, there would be no flowers and teenagers today without Zhu Zhonglu.
Zhang Junren has interviewed "Kao" Zhu Zhonglu many times. He said: "Zhu Zhonglu is not only straightforward, but also full of passion. I clearly remember that every time I visit Mr. Zhu Zhonglu, I walk straight, speak bluntly and have a loud voice, but this is not because of my insensitive ears, but because of my personality. Especially passionate and emotional, like all talented musicians, language, singing and gestures are used together. When it comes to emotional excitement, I often cry. "
I learned from Mr. Zhang that in April 2007, China Record Company published its last record, Northwest Flower King, and won the China Gold Record Award. This record, selected by Dr. Zhang Junren, is a summary of Mr. Zhu Zhonglu's life as a "flower" singer.
Nowadays, the generation of "Wang" has gone far away, leaving behind a tune that resounds through the world. Far away, we seem to hear his song again: "Hey, look at Pingchuan on the mountain, there is a Bai Mudan in Pingchuan."
