Chengdu Vocational University of the Arts (Chengdu?Vocational?University?of?Art), or Cheng Yi for short, is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, and is a full-time private general undergraduate vocational university approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China*** and the State Council of the People's Republic of China. Cheng Yi, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a full-time private ordinary undergraduate vocational university approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. The university was founded in 1999 as Chengdu Art Vocational College, and was upgraded to an undergraduate vocational university with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2018, with the name of Chengdu Art Vocational College (Undergraduate), and was renamed Chengdu Art Vocational University in 2019. As of August 2019, the school has two campuses, Xinjin and Qingshen, with a campus area of ****1,000 mu. The school has more than 800 faculty members, including more than 600 full-time teachers.
