More than 100 kilometers southeast of Kunming in Honghe Prefecture, there is a city of Mile, known as the "Oriental Bordeaux", because it is as rich in grapes as the city of Bordeaux, France, and the production of wine is known far and wide. In the summer, when the grapes are ripe, we came to Mile City.
I. Intoxicating grape wine.
Entering the boundaries of Mile, the fields on both sides of the highway are full of endless grapevines. Mile is located in the subtropical monsoon climate zone, plenty of sunshine, less frost and snow, where the planting of grapes do not need to build greenhouses, and because of the long hours of sunshine, the sweetness of the grapes produced is particularly high.
The roadside grapevine climbed green grape vines, lush leaves built into a thousand pergola, hanging on the shelf bunches of grapes, wrapped in a white insect bag, with a "holding the pipa half cover" of the mystery. At intervals along the highway, there will be a stall with bottles of wine on the table, which is the local winegrowers selling homemade wine. There are also many farms and wineries along the roadside, and the breeze filled the air with the sweetness of the grapes and the sweetness of the wine.
We came to a farm called "Exclusive Le", which is built on a hillside and surrounded by vineyards, except for two vegetable fields. The farm has three cottages, a small yard, a small pond, the yard built a shelf, planting a kind of cucurbit known as "crane head". This kind of gourd variety is very peculiar, long and thin melon handle like a crane's neck, oval body of the melon at the top of a pointed protrusion, like a crane's head. The skin of the melon has a sinew-like wrinkled lines, dark green as if coated with a layer of green paint.
We went to the vineyard to experience the fun of picking grapes. A group of people took scissors and plastic pots, can not wait to come to the vineyard. Standing under the grapevine, a bunch of sets of bags of grapes just in front of the eyes, hand knife down cut a bunch, peel off the bag, crystal bright grapes will reveal the true face, busy one by one grapes to the mouth, juicy flavor, sweet, sweet all the way to the bottom of the heart. Everyone was holding a bunch in their hands and eating it, while their eyes were already fixed on another bunch. Before one bunch was finished, a new bunch was already cut off and put into the hand. Green delicate crystal grapes, purple and red colorful rose honey grapes ...... different varieties have different tastes. Along the field all the way to eat, as if sweeping. Not long, everyone feels a little full. So, we are no longer "hungry for food". We carefully observed the growing position of the grapes, estimated the light condition of the grapes, gently pinched the grapes' shape, guessed the fullness of the grapes, and then cut them down to taste them to verify our judgment. Everyone competed to see who could find the sweetest grapes, or who could eat the grapes on the shelf without cutting off the clusters and tilting their heads. In the end, one by one, they burped their way back to the yard with a basin full of grapes.
In the farmhouse to eat farm food, the table is set under the melon shelf by the water pond. Here the farm food, is simple turnip soup, fried pumpkin vine, fried potato, gourd soup, are the farm fresh vegetables, light and refreshing, but unfortunately we eat grapes eat too much, there is not much "belly".
Sitting in the courtyard to rest, end of a glass of wine, aromatic, gently sip, sweet and soft, taste ironing. Looking far away, you can see a church on the opposite side of the hill, the white church stands on the green field, the golden sun shines on the church cross and stained dome glass windows, from time to time, there are pigeons take off and fall ...... this scene, it is really "wine is not intoxicated by the people from the drunkenness".
Second, the charming Oriental charm.
The Oriental Rhyme Manor, is a new tourist and cultural resort in Mile High City. When we see the manor from afar, the scenery in front of us, we can not help but cheer.
Oriental Rhyme Manor is surrounded by mountains and built in a valley, which is surrounded by tall eucalyptus forests. A fine tall eucalyptus trees closely next to each other, forming a wall, guarding the entire estate. The hillside is planted with purple, yellow and red flowers, making a sea of colorful flowers. The purple ones are sage flowers, the yellow ones are sunflower flowers, and the red ones are dahlia flowers. These flowers and plants are not only ornamental, but also local cash crops. Sage can be refined into essential oil, which has high economic benefits. The sea of flowers undulates in the breeze, as if rippling with layers of waves. At the foot of the hillside is a clear stream with green grass and a grove of trees, in which a few small wooden houses are hidden. Hillside, woods, cabins reflected in the stream, quiet and secluded. Scattered in the sea of flowers are several European-style windmills and red brick castles, creating a fairy tale world. In the sea of flowers there is a winding railroad track, each sleeper is engraved with the words "I love you" in different languages. Sniffing the aroma of flowers, walking through the sea of colorful flowers, watching the windmill slowly rotating under the blue sky and white clouds, it is really romantic and beautiful to the extreme!
We came to a castle, as if to a dream world. This castle is called "kaleidoscope" art building, the shape is a different shape of the wine bottle molding. This castle is a local folk artist Luo Xu design and construction, all using red brick masonry, did not use a steel bar, a nail. Walking into the castle, it is a unique place. Castle is an arch and a tall dome, dome wall with triangular, round holes, through the sky light. An archway cascades and extends, deep and mysterious; above the dome, thousands of stars twinkle, distant magic. Change different angles, you will see a combination of different patterns, really dazzling kaleidoscope! It is said that you don't need sound equipment to perform here. The curved design of the interior of the building can achieve a good harmonic effect. Outside the castle, a pair of couples in the photo, in the shadow of the castle, is the happy prince and princess in the fairy tale.
When I left the Oriental Rhythm Manor, I kept looking back with reluctance. It's like a fairyland, waiting for dreamers in a silent valley.
Three, the moving Huquan Lake.
There is a Huquan Lake in downtown Mile, Huquan Lake is an artificial lake, excavated and constructed by the well-known Red River Cigarette Factory in Mile, and now, together with the neighboring amusement facilities and hotels, it forms the famous Huquan Lake Scenic Area.
Huquan Lake covers an area of more than 1,700 acres, with an open and sweeping view of the lake and a magnificent atmosphere. Instead of building dams, the beach is preserved along the edge of the lake, making it easy for people to get close to the lake. The lake is full of overgrown water plants, grass jumping toads, grasshoppers and other small animals, from time to time there are fish jumping out of the water for a while, and then suddenly disappeared, leaving only the lake ripples. Several bays are planted with patches of lotus flowers. Summer is the season of lotus leaves, lotus swaying, dragonflies in the brightly colored lotus flowers fluttering, the wind wafting the faint fragrance of the lotus. After a few "squeaks" and "chirps", wild ducks and unknown waterfowl swim out from the grass and under the lotus leaves, diving in and out of the water to play. Many people hold up a cell phone camera, busy capturing the beauty of the scene in front of them, while the lakeshore fishing people are calmly guarding the fishing rod, waiting for the fish on the hook, Huquan Lake for the public and tourists to provide a quiet, leisurely good place to go.
Along the lake in a circle built a walking path, planted with green trees, which is dominated by palm trees. Tall palm trees are like a giant umbrella to protect pedestrians. Standing in the shade, looking at the lake view from afar, the opposite bank of the green trees and high and low buildings, forming a long line, as if a colorful ribbon floating on the lake. The distant mountains, with their rolling hills, surrounded the city. Above the mountains, the azure sky churned with white clouds. The surface of the lake is sparkling, the lake is clean and clear, reflecting the green trees, lotus, buildings, mountains, white clouds and blue sky, as if there is also a paradise on earth in the lake.

Four, warm people's hot spring night.
There are a lot of hot springs in Mile High City because of its rich geothermal resources, and the hot springs here belong to low-mineralization carbonate springs. Soaking in the hot springs here is not only very comfortable but also good for your health.
There is a mid-mountain hot spring area by the Lake Spring Lake, and we chose to go to the hot spring at night. The mid-mountain hot spring area is on a hill with twelve large and small hot spring pools. Along the stone path up the hill, not far, we saw a hot spring pool on the side of the road, and there was a sign on the side, which wrote the name of "Herb Bath", as well as a variety of health care efficacy of the introduction. There are many kinds of hot spring pools here, and besides natural hot spring pools, most of them are medicinal baths, such as "Herb Bath", "Red Wine Bath", and "Jasmine Bath", "milk bath"...... have different health care functions respectively, giving people different feelings.

The "landscape in the mountain, pool in the landscape" is a major feature of the Huquan Hot Springs.
Stepping into the hot spring pool, the water is soft and smooth, and the water temperature is moderate. The buoyancy of the hot spring water is great, because the minerals contained in the hot spring water have a large specific gravity. By leaning against the stones at the edge of the pool, you can easily float on the water with your whole body. When you are tired of playing in the hot spring pool, you can relax and soak in the warm hot spring, look up at the sky above you, the trees seem to be silhouetted, and the moon is shining silver in the clouds. This is a wonderful and cozy place to be!
After ten minutes in a hot spring pool, you can go further up the hill to a different pool, where the temperature of the water ranges from low to high. When you come out of the hot spring pool, you will feel a slight coolness in the air. When entering the steaming hot spring pool again, the feeling of being wrapped in warmth is comforting. At the top of the hill, there are three large hot spring pools, each with a capacity of more than a hundred people. The palm trees around the large baths were taller and more numerous, and a street lamp was made in the shape of a tree, with bright bulbs that seemed like a circle of the moon. There are many people in the pool, adults, children, men, women, laughing and joking, overflowing with a joyful atmosphere. The water in the bath is dense, the silhouette is fuzzy and hazy, as if in the celestial palace in the same pool.
Soak enough hot springs, you can go to the dining street of Xiaoshiqiao to eat late-night snacks. Dining Street in a small alley, there are all kinds of Yunnan snacks, such as baked tofu, yogurt slice, roasted blood pigeon, Milet Marinated Chicken, Bridge Rice Noodle, yellow beef ...... eating food, drinking cool cold drinks, looking at the lights under the people coming and going, has a warm and happy feeling.
