From Guangzhou to Su Jiawei, a settlement of Su Dongpo's descendants in Heyuan, there are 18 Hakka houses in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and the architectural style reflects the characteristics of Hakka houses. Hakka people attach great importance to the Mid-Autumn Festival, and every time at this time, they will gather in the courtyard as a family and taste mooncakes, peanuts, pomelo and so on under the moonlight while "honoring the moonlight". D2: Heyuan-Yongding Chuxi

Depart from Heyuan, via Hemei Expressway to Meizhou, drive about 350 kilometers on the highway, get off the highway and take the 223 Provincial Highway and 332 Provincial Highway to reach Chuxi Village of Yongding Xiayang Township, which is a full journey of 5~6 hours.
After arriving it is already late afternoon, it is recommended to take a stroll in Chuxi, which is a paradise-like original ecological ancient village, with stone paths and ancient streets, earthen buildings, and the earthen buildings are three rounds and one side of the architectural style.
