Northeast tourism real shot square dance

I know that many "traditional travel notes" need some beautiful pictures from the beginning to lock in everyone's attraction. In this article, I will inevitably start with some of Keynes's most amazing pictures. These landscapes are the totems of Keynes in my mind.

Overlooking the Great Barrier Reef

I came to Cairns at the invitation of the Australian and Queensland Tourism Boards. Frankly speaking, in the past two years, when I was doing financial work with only five days' annual leave, I refused such an invitation several times-first, there were few annual leave, and limited and valuable paid leave had to be used for my own travel; Second, I am worried that this arranged trip is not "free", and every day I go there is planned, which is not completely in line with my original intention of traveling.

Keynes's itinerary was perfect, avoiding these two concerns.

First, in the stage of redesigning my life, I have more time to "take a vacation";

Second, at the invitation of the Tourism Bureau, two-thirds of the time is "free arrangement". They only suggested where to live and what to travel, but they didn't "care about you".

It is for these two reasons that I crossed the equator again, came to Oceania for the second time and came to Australia for the first time. The landing point of this new continent is Cairns in the northeast corner of the Australian mainland.

The blue dot is the geographical location of Keynes.

I recommend Keynes to three types of people:

People who love underwater sports,

People who like animals.

People who like indigenous civilization

I will talk about it separately below, but I will focus on the most famous and recognizable scenic spot in Keynes, which is

The Great Barrier Reef, a miracle of the sea

In fact, before I went to Cairns, I was a stranger to this city-I had heard of the Gold Coast and even Brisbane (the capital of Queensland), but when I heard the name Cairns, it was probably because of my career. The first reaction in my mind is the words "Keynesianism" and "Keynesian economics".

I did my homework before I set out and got the first step to know Keynes.

Cairns is a seaside town with a permanent population of only 6.5438+0.52 million. It is an important tourist city in Australia, and tourism is the pillar industry here.

Keynes is rich in tourism resources (such as Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, Queensland Tropical Wetland Park, Atherton Plateau, Dantry Rainforest Park, Pa Ronira Park, etc.). During my eight-day trip, I have visited all these tourist projects, but there is one place that many people may have heard of.

Yes, that's the Great Barrier Reef.

Let's take a photo first and overlook the Great Barrier Reef in the sky. This is the most stunning seascape I have ever seen.

What is the Great Barrier Reef? The following is a brief introduction to it:

"If you don't travel, it will be too late" is applicable in many parts of the world. I once strongly recommended 10,000 pagodas in Bagan in "Riding a motorcycle at midnight, in rural Myanmar where I can't see my fingers, in Bagan Plain with a thousand Buddha's eyes". A year after I left, there was an earthquake, and several pagodas I experienced collapsed.

Screenshot of my WeChat after the earthquake, a tower I visited at that time completely collapsed in the earthquake.

What's more, after the earthquake, almost all pagodas were forbidden to climb, which was most of my intoxication and fun in Bagan.

Empty time after climbing the stupa

The following is what my friends saw after going there again. Nowadays, tourists are not allowed to climb the stupa without permission except the designated pagoda. One of the most unforgettable experiences in life as shown above will never be seen again.

As an equally disappearing scenic spot, the Great Barrier Reef should also be included in the "list of going as soon as possible" for ocean and diving enthusiasts.

My flight trip to the Great Barrier Reef

Specifically, this trip to the Great Barrier Reef has actually experienced many twists and turns.

As an extremely lax traveler, my plans can be changed at any time. I have made many incredible and seemingly wasteful trips, such as flying halfway around the world to Bolivia without going to the "mirror of the sky" and going to Barcelona twice without leaving time to go to Sagrada Familia.

On the second day in Cairns, I missed the bus to pick me up because I was sleepy, and the scheduled one-day tour of the Great Barrier Reef was also invalid.

I wanted to give up, but I heard that other people in my industry came back and praised the Great Barrier Reef. In the next few days, I was so upset that I finally decided to book the same trip to the sea on a passenger trip.

This is a very lucky decision.

Awesome life experience! A bird's eye view of the Great Barrier Reef from a helicopter is so gorgeous, and the colorful ocean makes Jay Chou's Coral Sea ring automatically in his ear …

In this project of sailing on the Great Barrier Reef, helicopters overlooking the Coral Sea are only part of it. There are many ways to play the whole game.

First, we sailed to Port Douglas, north of Cairns. It took the ship about 40 minutes to reach a platform in the middle of the sea. Then, tourists experience themselves on this well-equipped offshore platform.

A ship bound for an offshore platform

For people who want to dive, offshore platforms provide them with rich and complete equipment, such as diving suits, goggles with degrees, simulated seawater diving, real water snorkeling, deep diving and other projects.

(The above three pictures are from Pan Baina)

Even people who don't dive can have a good time here, such as eating a sumptuous buffet on an isolated island in the sea and taking a bird's eye view of this beautiful coral sea by helicopter 10 minutes, as shared above.

For another example, you can also take a semi-underwater submarine and walk on the seabed through transparent glass without touching water. Everything is free except the helicopter.

The Great Barrier Reef, the most dazzling pearl in Keynes's tourism crown, stopped here. After the trip to the Great Barrier Reef, I finally understood that "the Great Barrier Reef is Keynes". Even if there are twists and turns, I'm glad I didn't miss you in the end.

However, Keynes was not the only "Great Barrier Reef".

Resort hotel!

People who like to hang out in hotels may also like Keynes. Here are some real photos of the hotel I stayed in:

A lovely animal!

People who like animals should not miss it. As we all know, Australia's ecosystem is very special. There are many unique animal species living on this continent. There are over 378 species of mammals, 828 species of birds, 4,000 species of fish, 300 species of lizards, 140 species of snakes, 2 species of crocodiles and about 50 species of marine mammals in Australia. More than 80% of the plants, mammals, reptiles and frogs here are endemic species that are not found in other places, and are known as the "Cosmic Zoo".

Unique kangaroos, koalas, emus and platypus ... this is a paradise for animal lovers. My companion spent 223 days happily photographing these small animals, which is simply a flood of fatherly love.

Native civilization

Keynes's geographical location is far from the core of Australia, with one north and one south. It takes four hours to fly from this place to Sydney. When I opened the dating software in Cairns, I received greetings from port moresby. When I heard the name of this city, I was surprised at the same time-I know where this city is, because it is the capital of Papua New Guinea, an extremely poor and backward neighbor of Australia.

From this perspective, Keynes is an "island of the world" in Australia, which is closest to the old civilization. It is different from the white-dominated skin color in Sydney and Melbourne in the southeast. This geographical location also gave Keynes a unique aboriginal culture.

There are two places in Keynes where you can experience indigenous culture at close range, namely Tjapukai Indigenous Cultural Park and Kullanda Tropical Rainforest Indigenous Cultural Park.

In these indigenous cultural parks, during the day, visitors can learn how local people use bush fruits for medical treatment, play traditional musical instrument Digiridu, and throw traditional darts and spears themselves. In the evening, the program is more colorful. Indigenous performers took the stage to introduce tribal totems, ancient cultural costumes, indigenous celebrations and carnival dances. In the evening, you can also have a buffet in the restaurant and enjoy the aboriginal dance performance on the stage.

Here are some of my experience shots.

I'm sorry, as I said before, I was going to focus on this part of the story of Australian aborigines, but because it involves some political historical materials, it is slightly sensitive under the tone of this travel note, and the length of this article is already too long. I will write another article in the future to talk about my feelings about the culture and present situation of the aborigines in New Zealand and Australia.

The above is my memory and summary of Keynes's travel elements. Keynes is an Australian destination that China people are not particularly familiar with at present, but its tourism resources are unexpectedly diverse.

In this trip, my colleague friend 223 likes diving and animals, while I like the sea and indigenous civilization, so Little Keynes meets our needs at the same time.

Goodbye, Keynes.

The welcome fireworks on the last day are also unforgettable. Although it has nothing to do with the journey, I still want to record it.

see you again
