What was the style of Latin dance before Columbus arrived?

Before Columbus arrived, Latin American dance was full of simplicity, and the musical instruments accompanying the dance were basically flutes and drums. The flute is made of reed or clay. There is an Indian nose flute in the Amazon basin, which is disc-shaped and perforated and plays through the nostrils. Percussion instruments usually have drums made of burnt tree trunks. The shell can be used as a scraper or a hollow shaker, and the shell is filled with stones. These instruments are used to accompany Indian dances. Indians in central Brazil also dug a hole in the ground, put a hollow tree and stuffed some animal bone fragments in it. People danced on it, and the drums sounded rhythm. Uncivilized Latin Americans also used jaguar claws, deer hooves, swollen tiger eyes and even human bones to make their original musical instruments. Mexican aborigines wear butterfly cocoons on their feet and can make a rustling sound when dancing.
