On the afternoon of Oct. 1, our family went on a yacht ride through rays of sunshine to the Grand Island Plaza, a day I will never forget.
From a distance we looked at a capped white, small, delicate yacht, shaped like an arrow in the river. When the yacht picked us up, it was leaning against the side of the river, and we could only walk along the narrow side of the boat, carefully pulling the handrail and walking slowly to the deck, for fear of falling into the river.
The door of the yacht was hidden, in front of the deck, like a window. The passenger seat in the cabin has a tiny fan that squeaks when you turn it on, and although the yacht is small, there is a toilet inside!
We put on our life jackets and the yacht set sail. We sat on the deck and the wind blew my hair around. I stood and held the railing to see the Tuojiang River swirling with a thousand splashes, as if a flower was coming at me. The yacht went upstream and we sailed on the wide river. At this time my father pointed ahead and asked me, "Look, doll, what kind of bird is flying in the air in front of you?" I looked far away and saw a few egrets flying freely in the air, and a few others standing on the branches of trees singing. The yacht was about to speed up and the wind was getting stronger, making us cooler. My mother shouted, "Doll, there's a cow over there." I followed my mother's voice and saw a relaxing cow on the riverbank, eating grass! I looked at the beautiful river scenery, I smelled the smell of autumn, the autumn girl makes our Neijiang become more fragrant, more beautiful.
Back home, I'm still excited about the feeling of sitting on the yacht can only be described in one word, that is - cool!
