Dagu Iceberg Scenic Area is located in Heishui County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan, China, with east longitude102.44.15-102.52.46 and north latitude 32. 12.30-32.5438+07.06. It is the lowest, largest and youngest glacier in the world. It is the closest glacier to Midtown and the most beautiful glacier in the glacier area so far.
The top of Dagu Snow Mountain is covered with snow all year round, with magnificent momentum and scattered peaks. Under the irradiation of sunlight, it is wrapped in silver and spectacular. Modern mountain glaciers with a thickness of 60-200 meters are developed on the north and south slopes of the Snow Mountain. The most spectacular three glaciers, namely Glacier 1, 2/and 3, cover an area of about 8.25 square kilometers, which have been formed for hundreds of millions of years and are the soul of the whole scenic spot.
There are abundant resources such as glaciers, snow peaks, colorful forests, Tibetan feelings and lakes in the scenic spot. At the peak of Quaternary glacier, Dagu iceberg is a large flat-topped ice cap glacier. At present, there are three modern glaciers 13 in the scenic area, with a glacier area of 6.04 square kilometers.
