What I find most indispensable for Chinese New Year are my family, the reunion dinner, the Spring Festival Gala and the bright streets.
So let me take you into my indispensable elements below!
1. Family
Growing up, we were all a neat family on New Year's Eve. We would always get together for the spring and fall festivals and never had that feeling of missing out. So every year I feel happy, although it's rarely a year when we're all together for leisure, when some people work and some people study. On New Year's Day, it's all a break from the hustle and bustle and back home. My family is a happy and contented six, I live happily with my grandparents mom and dad and my brother. No matter what six people do together, the joy is doubled.
2. Reunion Dinner
When I was at school, the school meal, no matter how good it was, didn't smell as good as the one made at home. Although there were many people in the school cafeteria, it was not as close as sitting together as a family. Reunion dinner is not only a symbol of reunion, but also a reflection of our family's happiness. Six people cook together, wash the dishes together, and eat the flavorful meal together. Six people make dumplings and eat them together. It is a blessed time for a family to sit around the table as they honor and love each other and ***catch up on their family life.
3. Spring Festival Gala
The Spring Festival Gala, which originated in 1979, is widely watched by all families, and ours is no exception. Although the pace of life is getting faster and faster, and the fireworks are all gone, the Spring Festival Gala is still there. The family is no longer just looking at their own small cell phones, but watching the big TV, discussing the program inside the TV set, knocking melon seeds, is not it beautiful? Although the screen, but also can feel the strong atmosphere of the New Year; although not in the scene, but also nervous to follow the countdown to welcome the arrival of the New Year. Open my list, with my friends to bless each other, this is also full of rituals.
4. Bright streets
Why bright streets? In my hometown, the lights are kept on all night on New Year's Eve, and it is said that this will start the year smoothly. Our younger generation is also used to the bright lights, but also always scramble to turn on the lights, always feel that this is a sacred thing. Looking back at some of the 2020 touched, 2022 is still remembered in the heart, some of the lights seem to have become a sword, stabbing the virus. In fact, the most indispensable part of New Year's Eve is the New Year's wish.
2022 hope that the mountains and rivers are safe, the epidemic is good, looking forward to the haze dispersed, waiting for the spring flowers.
