Who is the loveliest person read

Full text of Who is the Loveliest Person Every day in North Korea, I am touched by something; the tide of my thoughts and feelings is running indulgently; I want to tell everything to my friends in my motherland. But what I am most anxious to tell you is an important experience of my thoughts and feelings, and that is this: I am getting a deeper and deeper sense of who are our loveliest people!

Who are our loveliest people? Our soldiers, I feel they are the loveliest people. Perhaps there are still people who say vaguely in their hearts: you are talking about those "soldiers"? They seem to be very ordinary, very simple miles, can not see them have any profound knowledge, but also can not see them have any rich feelings. However, I have to say, this is because he has too little contact with our soldiers, have not understood our soldiers: their quality is so pure and noble, their will is so tough and strong, their temperament is so simple and humble, their heart is so beautiful and broad! Let me tell you a story. During the Second Battle, a unit of volunteers plunged behind the enemy to cut off the enemy's escape route in Junkanli. When they arrived at Shudang Station, the fleeing enemy arrived there just in time, and looked to be driving over the automobile road. The leading edge of this unit then hastily occupied a very low, bare hillock along the automobile road to block the enemy. A magnificent struggle began. The enemy, trying to escape, used 32 airplanes and more than 10 tanks to launch a group charge that rolled so furiously toward this company's position that the whole top of the hill was overturned, and the flames of the petrol bombs burned this position red. But the warriors, on this hillock of smoke and fire, shouting slogans, killed the enemy again and again in front of their position. The dead bodies of the enemy were piled up like grains in front of the hill, and blood flowed red on this hillock. But the enemy still wanted to fight to the death so that their main force would not be destroyed. The battle lasted eight hours. Finally, the warriors ran out of bullets. The swarming enemy took over the hill and pressed them to the foot of the hill. The petrol bombs dropped by the airplanes set their bodies on fire. At this time, the warriors are still will not retreat ah, they dropped the gun, to the enemy pounced, body hat on the fire whirring, hold the enemy, so that the body of the fire, but also the occupation of the position of the enemy burned to death. ...... According to the battalion commander of this battalion told me that after the war, this company's position, the guns completely broken, machine gun parts thrown all over the mountain. The remains of the martyrs retained a variety of poses. There were those who held the enemy by the waist, those who held the enemy's head, those who held the enemy by the neck and pushed him to the ground, and those who fell and burned together with the enemy. There was a soldier who still clutched a grenade in his hand, the body of which was smeared with brain matter; the American ghosts who died with him had their brains burst out and coated the ground. Another soldier, with half a piece of the enemy's ear still in his mouth. While burying the remains of the martyrs, as they clasped their two hands and held the enemy so tightly that they could not be separated, so that they broke the fingers of some of them. ...... Although this company suffered heavy casualties, they killed more than 300 enemies, and more importantly, they enabled the main force of our troops to come up and gather and annihilate the enemy. This was one of the most magnificent battles on the Korean battlefield - the battle of Songbongbong, or the battle of Shudang Station. If there is a need for a monument, let me write down the names of the martyrs who fought the enemy with fire and bayoneted them to death. Their names are: Wang Jinchuan, Xing Yutang, Jing Yutuo, Wang Wenying, Xiong Guanquan, Wang Jinhou, Zhao Xijie, Sui Jinshan, Li Yu'an, Ding Zhendai, Zhang Guisheng, Cui Yuliang, and Li Shuguo. There is another warrior whose name is no longer possible to know. Let our martyrs be immortalized for thousands of years! The battalion commander of this battalion recounted the above to me, his voice was slow and his feelings were heavy. He said that he shed tears while burying the martyrs in his position. But then he went on to say, "You must not think that I am sad for them, no, I am proud of them! I think our soldiers are so great, so lovable, that I can't help but be moved to tears by them." My friend, when you heard this heroic story, how did you feel? Don't you think our soldiers are lovely? Aren't you proud that our motherland has such heroes? Our soldiers, who were so ruthless to the enemy, were so loving to the Korean people, full of the deep passion of internationalism. On the north bank of the Han River, I met a young soldier, he is only 21 years old, named Ma Yuxiang, is Heilongjiang Qinggang County people. He had a slightly black and red face, tall, and stood there as simple and lovely as a red sorghum plant in a field in the fall. However, because he had only just come down from the position, he looked a little tired, the redness in his eyes had not yet receded. He was originally from the artillery company. One night, he was awakened by a cry, and went out to see an old Korean mother sitting on a hillock, crying. It turned out that her house had been blown up and she had built a shack in the mountains, which had been blown up again. When he came back, he immediately went to the company headquarters and asked to be transferred to the infantry company, and it just so happened that the infantry company also needed men, so they approved him. I said, "Wouldn't you fight the enemy the same way in the artillery company?" "That's different!" He said, "The closer you are to the enemy, the more enjoyable it is to fight, and the more you feel relieved!" During the days of blocking the enemy on the south bank of the Han River, one day he came down from his position to cook. As soon as he entered the village, a few enemy planes attacked and fired a burst of machine guns, then dropped two large incendiary bombs. Several houses were on fire, and the fire was so intense and the smoke so heavy that people dared not go to them. At that moment he heard the sound of a small child crying in the smoke and fire. He immediately went through the smoke to take a closer look, a middle-aged Korean man fell down in the yard, and the child's cries were still in the house. He went to the door of the house, the door of the fire whistling, can not enter the person, the paper of the door and window has been burned. The cries of the little child came out with that rolling smoke and were heard loud and clear. When he came to this point in his narrative, he said, "Can I not go in? I couldn't! I thought that if I could go in when I met this situation in my homeland, could I not go in in North Korea? Aren't the people of North Korea the same as the people of our motherland? I kicked the door open and jumped in. I was shocked to see that the room was full of gray smoke! The room was full of gray smoke, and I could only hear children crying but could not see people. I couldn't open my eyes and my face was as hot as a knife. I don't know if my body is on fire, I don't care about it, just touching the ground. First touched an adult, pulled and did not pull; and to the adult behind the touch, only to touch the child's legs, I grabbed and picked up, jumped out of the door. I took a look at the child and saw that he was a very nice child. He was wearing a short coat and had two bare legs, which were stomping about and crying. I thought to myself, 'Whether you cry or not, if you don't save your adult, who will feed you? At this time, the fire got bigger, and the furniture in the house burned. I put him down on the ground, and went in through the fire door, and pulled on the lady, and she grunted, and I pulled her out as hard as I could, and saw that she did not move again. When I looked closer, I saw that the blood running down her face had stained the white of her chest red, and her eyes were closed. I knew she wasn't going to make it before I hurriedly jumped out the door, extinguished the fire on my body, and picked up this fatherless child. ......" Friend, when you hear this deed, how do you feel? Don't you think that our soldiers are the loveliest people? Everyone knows that the battlefields of Korea are a bit tougher. But what do the soldiers think? Once, I saw a soldier, in a bomb shelter, eating a mouthful of fried noodles on a mouthful of snow. I asked him, "Don't you feel bitter?" He withdrew the spoonful of snow he was sending to his mouth, smiled, and said, "How can I not feel it? It's not like our revolutionary army is a monster. But therein lies our glory." He put the little spoon down dry and said excitedly, "Take eating snow. I'm eating snow here precisely so that the people of our homeland don't eat snow. They can sit in a quite open house, make a pot of tea, keep a small fireplace, and make whatever they want to eat." He also pointed to the small, damp bomb shelter, said, "and then squatting in a bomb shelter, how suffocating miles, looking outside the good sun can not be sunshine, light road can not walk. But if I squat in a bomb shelter here, the people of the motherland can not squat in a bomb shelter, they can walk on the road without panic. They can ride bicycles if they want to, they can walk if they want to, they can walk and talk if they want to. As long as we can make the people happy, that is our greatest happiness. So," he put the snow in his mouth again and said, as if summarizing, "it's nothing for me to shed a little blood here, and it's nothing for me to suffer this much!" I asked again: "Do you want the motherland?" He smiled. He laughed: "Who doesn't want it? It's a lie to say I don't want it, but I don't want to go back. If I go back, the people of the motherland will ask me, 'How has the mission we entrusted to you been accomplished? How can I answer? I would say, 'North Korea is half red and half black,' what kind of talk is that?" I then asked, "You have experienced so many dangers and suffered so much, do you have any demands on the motherland for North Korea?" He thought for a while before answering me, "We don't want anything. But to speak from the heart, - I'm not always appropriate ah, we are wanting such a big thing ......" He smiled, using his finger than a copper the size of a copper, afraid that I do not understand, " A 'commemorative medal for the liberation of Korea', we are willing to wear it on our breasts and go back to our motherland." My friends, without giving more examples, you can already understand what kind of people our soldiers are, what kind of qualities such people have, how beautiful and broad their souls are. They are the first-class warriors, the first-class people in history and in the world! They are the flower of excellence of all the great peoples of the world! They are the flowers of our proud motherland! We are proud that our homeland has such heroes, and we are proud to be born in this heroic country! Dear friends, when you get on the first tram in the morning and head for the factory, when you put on the plow and harrow and head for the fields, when you drink a cup of soymilk and carry your bag to school, when you sit down at your desk and start your day's work, when you stuff apples in your children's mouths, and when you take a walk with your loved ones... ...my friend, do you realize that you are in bliss? You may be surprised and say, "This is very common!" But those who have returned from Korea will know that you are living in happiness. Please realize that this is happiness, because only if you realize this, you will be able to understand more y the reason why our soldiers fought to the death in Korea. Friend! You love our motherland and our great leader Chairman Mao so much, you will surely love our soldiers y, - they are indeed our most lovely people!

Edited Works Appreciation

In the history of the development of contemporary literature, the first to be mentioned is Wei Wei's collection of reportage and literature "Who is the loveliest person". In these works, the author reported with deep emotion and poetic strokes the earth-shaking heroic deeds on the battlefields of the anti-U.S. and anti-North Korean wars, revealed the noble hearts of the Chinese People's Volunteers that shone brightly in the sun and moon, and sang praises to the flesh and blood friendship between the Chinese and North Korean peoples. When these works were published at that time, they immediately aroused a strong reaction. It inspired the fighting spirit of the combatants on the Korean front, and encouraged the people of the motherland to work hard to produce and support the front. Wei Wei said of his experience in writing these essays that "who is the loveliest person" is a theme that has been rummaging in his mind for a long time. Wei Wei and North Korean children

The author believes that it is very important for people who write to feel y in real life. When one feels y and writes, one is bound to have that much energy. Deep feeling is very much related to in-depth interviews. If you talk y with them and know them well, their temperament, thoughts and feelings will infect you and make you sink into their emotions. In expressing the theme, firstly, the author tries to pursue the most essential things. Secondly, by using typical examples that are most representative of the general, to illustrate what is essential, the impression is clear and understandable, and will be outstanding. The mystery of writing vividly about the warrior is that not only the heroic behavior of the warrior should be written, but also the thoughts and feelings of the hero in the heroic behavior. Can not write the warrior like a grenade-throwing machine, can not write only a layer of the warrior's skin, but to write the life and soul of the hero. If the living person is written dead, the heroic person is written as a paper man and paper horse, and then surprising and amazing deeds, but also feel less touching. When the reader feels that the original people who made such heroic behavior, is the same as their own flesh and blood people, even if the example is not too prominent, will still be touching. Wei Wei's writing experience also shows that the purpose of a thing, to be simple and clear. Move the pen, can not be all-encompassing, want to tell people this, and want to tell people that. As a result, the problem is not sharp, not clear, not to mention in-depth problem solving. From the point of view of the work, Wei Wei has achieved great success, first of all, he himself also talked about the deep feeling of life, his deep affection for the soldiers. Secondly, it lies in the author's exquisite artistic skills. Some people call Wei Wei's prose "magnificent poetry", which indeed summarizes his artistic style. Wei Wei originally liked poetry, his prose with distinctive poetic qualities, distinctive image, pure heart, deep thoughts and exciting poetic feelings into a furnace, so that the tide of thoughts and feelings from the beautiful pen out, rushing and exciting, but also fresh and pleasant. Who is the loveliest person", initially published in April 11, 1951 "People's Daily", in the hearts of the general public stirred up a strong **** Ming. Prose through the three both independent, but also pearl joint image, layer by layer in-depth display of the character, bosom and quality of the volunteer soldiers. Prose also in the beginning, the end and in the middle, harmoniously adding lyrical discussion, deep thought, tide like feelings, mingled together, through the beautiful language, pouring out. Forward, Motherland! Written on the west coast of Korea in 1952, the article expresses the love, longing and hope for the motherland of the soldiers in the battlefield of Korea: "O motherland, on the front line where there is a lot of artillery fire, everyone is thinking about you, everyone is listening to you, and even guessing about you from a short letter home. Though people can't see you, they can hear you. For your rushing steps are vibrating the hearts of your sons and daughters." This piece of prose is novel in conception and material, typical examples, sincere and touching. With a passion, the author writes about the soldiers' love for the motherland. In the People's Daily of November 14, 1958, Wei Wei published "The Deep Feeling of Farewell". This is a lyrical poem that makes one's heart sink. 1958, the last batch of the volunteer army was leaving Korea and returning home. The author used the technique of sending feelings to objects to compress the deep feelings of farewell into typical images and details that had been carefully refined. He is very keen to grasp the changes in people's thoughts and feelings on the eve of separation, fully described, and constantly accumulated, brewing, for the moment of separation of the pouring rain of tears as a deep padding. The structure of the prose is strict and natural, and the expression of the feelings of separation is deepened layer by layer. In order to strengthen the lyrical atmosphere, the author also used the scenery to color. All in all, the theme of "the deep feeling of farewell" has been well expressed, profoundly embedded, intensely touching. Other works in the collection, such as "young people, make your youth more beautiful", "soldiers and the motherland", "squeeze it", etc., are also quite popular with readers.

Wei Weiwei: How I Wrote Who is the Loveliest Person (People's Daily, August 19, 1951) Editor's Note: Comrade Weiwei's North Korean newsletter Who is the Loveliest Person is a well-written piece of newsletters for the Korean front. The editorial board of this newspaper invited Comrade Wei Wei to talk about his experience in creating this newsletter in May and wrote this article. We believe that what he said about creative thinking and creative methods is correct and worthy of reference by journalists and literary workers.

Reasons for writing

The most basic reason why I can write "Who is the loveliest person" is that the heroic spirit and heroic deeds of our soldiers are so great and touching. And all this moved me completely. The theme of Who is the Loveliest Man is one that has been rumbling around in my head for a long time. I've been in the military for a long time, and I have such an affinity for soldiers, and feel that our soldiers are the most adorable people. Whenever I sit with them, I don't know why, but I feel full of joy. This time I went to North Korea and was in the volunteer army, which made this feeling deeper. I felt even more adorable for the soldiers. I saw that although the task they faced in the Korean War was so arduous and the combat environment was so hard, the heroism of our soldiers had a higher development than what I had seen in the past in the War of Resistance against Japan and the War of Liberation. The universality of this valor in particular is unprecedented. For example, in an infantry regiment, I once learned an astonishing number, this regiment, until the end of the third battle, the number of wounded soldiers who requested to stay in the army was greater than the number of those who were sent to the hospital for recuperation. I am afraid that in the history of the world war, it is also a miracle! This fact urged me on all the more, and gave me an even stronger desire to express the theme of Who is the Loveliest Man? Now, looking back at the piece, it makes this point clearer to me: how important it is for the person who writes to feel y in real life! You feel y, write, but also inevitably have so a force, people read, but also feel y; you feel shallow, people from you here by, but also shallow. If you are not touched at all, then there is no need to talk about it. Here, I also want to add, is the depth of feeling, and in-depth interviews are very related. Take the interviews among the fighters, for example, if you talk y with them and know them well, their temperament, thoughts and feelings will infect you and make you sink into their emotions. In other words, make you feel a little deeper.

The theme of writing

How did I express this theme? First of all, I try to pursue the most essential things. In North Korea, I often thought of one question in my mind: why are our soldiers so brave? They were not afraid to die! Where did that high level of heroism come from? In order to find the answer, I talked a lot and held a lot of symposiums. I talked to them in detail, letting them talk out what was in their hearts. Those who talked to me included commanders, battle heroes, ordinary soldiers, cadres, new students and those who had been backward in the past. I learned that they all shared the same point of love for the great motherland, deep sympathy for the Korean people, and the honor of being a revolutionary hero on the basis of their different exercises and understanding, though there were some differences. Thus, I understood that this great deep ideological feeling of patriotism and internationalism under the Party's education was the most essential motivation for the valor and fearlessness of our soldiers. Isn't that the most essential thing, I thought? This is the most essential thing. I affirm it. I must reflect it. I have no doubt. All other loose ends, one-sidedness, and contingencies cannot change my understanding of the problem. The essence of the problem has been found, so what should be done to reflect this most essential thing? When I was in North Korea, I wrote a newsletter entitled "Be Proud, Motherland," in which I wrote more than twenty examples that I thought were the most vivid. I brought it back and showed it to my comrades. I felt that it was not good, so I didn't take it out for publication. Because of the examples piled up too much, as if the bookkeeping, which is not clear, not enough. Later, when I wrote "Who is the loveliest person", I chose only a few examples and deleted two after I finished writing. Facts tell me: the use of the most representative of the general typical examples, to illustrate the essence of the thing, the impression is clear and understandable, will also be outstanding.

Writing connotation

Writing warriors how to write vividly? I feel that not only should write the warrior's heroic behavior, but also write the warrior's heroic behavior in the hero's thoughts and feelings. For example, to write a fierce battle scene and the heroic behavior of the warrior, if only write the enemy artillery fire how powerful, how ferociously the enemy rushed up, after a burst of grenades of our soldiers, the enemy down. Then the enemy charged for the second time, the third time, our soldiers again the second, third time to knock them down with grenades, etc., is likely to make the reader feel that our warriors are not like a living person, and brake like a grenade-throwing machine. This is to write only a layer of skin of the warrior, did not write the life and soul of the hero. Write the living person dead, write the heroic person into a paper man paper horse. And then surprising and amazing deeds, also feel less touching. However, if we write the thoughts and feelings of the warrior, it will give people a much different feeling. They will feel: the original make such heroic behavior, is the same as their own flesh and blood people. Even if the example is not too prominent, it will still be touching. For example, the matter of not going into the line of fire when wounded, which in the revolutionary army, is almost the most common, but if you can write out the thoughts and feelings of a wounded but not going into the line of fire, it will move people. The reason is: the people's thoughts and feelings are always connected, you just need to convey the thoughts and feelings, you can be thousands of miles away from each other, the situation is completely different from the people linked together. Especially the thoughts and feelings of our soldiers are so noble and beautiful, how touching it is in itself!

The form of writing

The experience of this piece, in turn, has taught me that the purpose of a piece should be simple and clear. It is indeed not easy to get a meaning across in a short thing. However, the pen, and always love to be all-encompassing, want to tell people this, and want to tell people that. As a result, the problem is not sharp and clear, let alone solving the problem in depth. Because which meaning is not said thoroughly, how can give people a deep impression? At the beginning of writing this piece, I wanted to say several things, but in the end I didn't do that. Why did I put it in the form of a newsletter? Speaking of which, I've been involved in an old habit of mine in the past. I used to love to write poems, and although I wrote some newsletters during the war, I didn't attach much importance to them. This time back, and want to write something else first, but then always think: such a great struggle and great warriors must be written out very quickly, if slowly drilling there long, carve fine, and finally failed, how to stand up to the warriors? In this way, on the pen to write this newsletter. This piece of writing and a little bit of shallow experience, is this.

Mao Zedong approved: "Who is the most lovely people" issued to the whole army Who is the most lovely people? Who was the first to cry out the heart of the times and the people? It was the writer Wei Wei. The loveliest people and the new generation of loveliest people have become synonymous with the Chinese People's Volunteer Army and the Chinese People's Liberation Army in contemporary China. The work "Who are the Loveliest People?" has become a household name, spreading throughout China and abroad, and has been selected for inclusion in the national secondary school language textbooks, inspiring and educating several generations of people. On April 11, 1951, the People's Daily published Wei Wei Wei's article "Who is the Loveliest Person" on the first page. After reading it, Mao Zedong instructed: "Issue it to the whole army". Zhu De read it and praised it, "Well written! Very good!" When Zhou Enlai spoke at the second meeting of the Literature Congress in 1953, he pushed aside the script and said loudly into the microphone, "Who is here, Comrade Wei Wei, and is he here today? Please stand up, I want to get to know this friend (at this point, the whole audience looked at Wei Wei, who stood up from his seat, and applauded warmly), and I thank you for giving our sons and daughters such a title as 'the loveliest man'." In 1957 the Moscow State Publishing House of Art and Literature published a Russian translation of Who is the Loveliest Man, and in the preface C. Markova wrote: "Wei Wei belonged to the generation of young writers who grew up during the turbulent war years when the Chinese people awakened to revolution, and he was born into a family of clerks in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, in 1920. His family's years of poverty had early on exposed the future poet and writer to a hard life, and early on prompted him to awaken and protest against the injustices that shrouded the Nationalist society. ...... Wei Wei's featured works have now attracted widespread attention from readers. In these works, he sincerely praises and glorifies the Chinese People's Volunteers on the Korean front. Each of his close-ups is saturated with an uncontainable belief in the bright future of ordinary people, of the people. These close-ups have not yet lost their charm."

Editing this paragraph Looking back at the classics

Re-reading Who is the Loveliest Person What it touched and what it influenced [1] In 2000, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the Volunteer Army's war abroad, a reporter from the People's Daily interviewed Wei Wei. Talking about Who is the Loveliest Person, Wei Wei said, "The title Who is the Loveliest Person is not something that came out of my mind, but something that jumped out of my heart and popped out of the waves of emotions. The most fundamental reason why I can write Who is the Loveliest Person is that the heroism of our soldiers has always inspired me. Their heroic deeds are so great, so touching, that they moved me completely." Wei Wei still looks emotional as he recounts these past events. Today, re-reading this work, which has influenced generations, is more than moving.

Editing Social Commentary

Xiao Fuxing

The article has a historical coordinate significance, and ""Lovely People"" is one of Wei Wei's contributions. --- Xiao Fuxing (Famous Writer) What impresses me about Wei Wei is the piece "Who is the Loveliest Person". Who is the Loveliest Man" can be said to be a classic. In the 1950s, this work made "the loveliest man" a synonym for the volunteer army. After so many years, the term "the loveliest person" still exists in our lives across time and space: anyone who has made contributions to society and touched it can be the loveliest person in our hearts, and I think this is one of Wei Wei's contributions. It can be said that in the 1950s, the influence of this work was still very great, but for the present society, after all, there is a long distance between the early years of the founding of the People's Republic of China and now, and the social environment has changed a lot, so I think that the kind of transparent and clear mind that Wei Wei Wei had at that time is not much nowadays. Nowadays, society has changed too much, and the atmosphere of commercialization is too strong, so people's minds have become very complicated, and it's hard to find the kind of thoroughness at that time. However, after all, that era still has its limitations, and Wei Wei's article is of historical significance from a historical point of view. The departure of the old generation of writers may mean the slow end of an era, but it also means the arrival of a new era.
