Song "Mohe Dance Hall" creation background:
The song was created by Liu Shuang with the story of Zhang Dequan (a pseudonym), an old man who danced alone in a dance hall, and his loss of his deceased wife in the 5-6 Daxinganling mega forest fire.In December 2019, Liu Shuang went to Mohe to pick up winds, passed by a dance hall, was attracted by the vintage music that was coming from the room, and at that time was curious about an old man who danced alone
The old man's wife was killed in the 5-6 Daxinganling forest fire, and since then the old man has not remarried for decades and has no children, he often goes to the dance hall near the incident to dance and remember his wife who loved to dance. After obtaining consent, Liu Shuang returned to Beijing after the old man's tone of voice wrote a letter "Goodbye Evening Star" to his late wife Kang.
It took Liu Shuang two months to produce the demo and master the remix, and he revised three or four versions in the process, finally settling on the expression he was most satisfied with, and adding a certain degree of literary imagery and detail filling.
