The industrial robots referred to here are specifically industrial mechanical arms, and other types of industrial robots will be discussed later.
China's industrial robots have been developing rapidly in the past few years, with the gradual decline of the demographic dividend, the rising cost of labor, industrial robots are gradually entering the public eye.
Industrial robotic arm installed in the factory production line, can improve product quality and yield, but also to protect personal safety, improve the labor environment, reduce labor intensity, improve labor productivity, save raw material consumption and reduce production costs, has a very important significance. With the recent years has been a serious recruitment difficulties, as well as factory owners have been a headache of labor disputes, the installation of industrial robots is undoubtedly a good solution.
At present, there are a lot of domestic production enterprises began to install industrial robots to gradually replace manual operation, such as Foxconn, the United States Group, etc., in the near future, when we enter the factory front-line production workshop, will see a row of neat mechanical arm in the complexity of the production work, the production workshop only a small number of staff on duty, all of the high-intensity work are given to the robot!
2. Entertainment robots
The name suggests that robots are used for entertainment purposes. There are many different forms of robots, including humanoid robots, bionic robots (animal-like), and a variety of cute, cartoon-like robots.
To make the robot to achieve the entertainment effect and attract the audience's attention, the appearance design is very important, design a cute/cool robot, can keep 90% of the audience's eyeballs!
Of course, the function of the robot must also be enough to meet the requirements of the audience, from the function to distinguish between entertainment robots can be categorized as: dance robot, welcome robot, sports robot.
Let's imagine, in an entertainment park, when we walk into the gate, there will be a beautiful woman in the shape of a robot to approach you, and for visitors to introduce the park's special projects, the robot is also able to interact with visitors to answer questions.
Then passing by the stage, we will see the robot dancing on the stage, which is a real mechanical dance!
After the dance show, in the park, we will also see a variety of robots interacting with the area, there are robotic dinosaurs, robotic snakes, and robots playing ball with children! Visitors can get up close and personal with the high-tech robots and take pictures.
Back to reality, all of this is no longer a fantasy, the current entertainment robots have appeared one after another in the corners of major cities, as long as you pay attention to observe, some commercial plaza activities, amusement parks, real estate activities, large-scale exhibitions, etc., will appear in the robot's silhouette, attracting countless curious eyes.
3. Family robots
Family robots are special robots for human services, mainly engaged in family services, maintenance, repair, transportation, cleaning, supervision and other work.
Modern life is fast-paced, and many parents are busy working. In the home health, teaching children to do homework, for the home balcony of the flowers and plants in the water, these parents would have needed to do the daily things, can only wait until the evening back from work to do, do a busy day of work, but also to go home to take care of the household, do parents are not easy.
Now these tedious things can be handed over to the family robot to complete! Currently on the market also appeared a variety of housework robots, the main function is to clean the main, part of the robot also has a monitoring function, as the price is also gradually decreased, the robot into the life of the times really want to come!
4. Competition robots
In fact, almost all robots are born from scientific research institutions, some robotics technology is mature, and can be applied to the details of life, the above we mentioned industrial robots, entertainment robots, home robots. Humanity's pursuit of robots will never stop, as we see science fiction movies, which high-tech robots, it is because human beings are full of fantasies about the future world, which gradually promote the development of the robotics industry.
Currently the largest robotics competition is the Robotics World Cup. Robotics World Cup (RoboCup) is an international collaborative program for the promotion of artificial intelligence, robotics and related fields. It provides a wide range of technical standard issues for AI robotics research that can be synthesized and tested. The ultimate goal of the robotics program is to develop fully autonomous humanoid robot teams capable of winning against human soccer world championship teams by 2050. In order to truly play robot soccer as a team, a variety of technologies must be included, including: autonomous design of intelligences, multi-intelligence collaboration, strategy acquisition for real-time reasoning, and robot and sensor fusion.
The robot is just a platform for robotics competitions that can facilitate the exchange of technology and identify existing deficiencies and make improvements.
5. Military Robotics
As the name suggests, it is a robot for military purposes, mainly used for reconnaissance, transportation, command, combat, logistics support and so on.
Military robots can be divided into 3 categories: ground robots, underwater robots, space robots.
Ground robots are mainly intelligent or remotely controlled wheeled and tracked vehicles. Remote monitoring allows the robots to independently perform dangerous tasks, such as bomb disposal.
Underwater robots are divided into two categories: manned and unmanned robots: where manned submersibles are maneuverable and flexible, facilitating the handling of complex problems, serving as a life may be in danger, and expensive.
Space robots are low-priced, lightweight, remote-controlled robots that can navigate and fly through the atmosphere of the planets. To do this, it must overcome many difficulties, such as being able to move and navigate autonomously in an ever-changing three-dimensional environment; being virtually incapable of stopping; having to be able to determine its position and state in space in real time; being able to control its vertical motion; and predicting and planning paths for its interplanetary flights.
