Changsha has a pleasant climate, deep cultural heritage, many local cuisines, and many scenic spots and monuments. It it's a place worth visiting. It it' appropriate to stay in Changsha for a long time. If the time is short, I recommend a nice three-day tour. Hope it can help you.
The first day of Taiping Street
The first day, after a long journey to Changsha, the first thing to solve is the problem of food and accommodation. As Taiping Street is located in the center of Wuyi Square, Orange Island and Pozi Street, it is recommended to stay in the surrounding area. When you arrive in Changsha, you should have a bowl of Hunan rice noodles, slightly spicy, to let your stomach get used to the flavor of Hunan. Then stroll through Taiping Old Street. If you are tired, you can rest at the hotel.
First day of Wuyi Square
After you are refreshed, you can go to Wuyi Square in the afternoon. In the evening, you can go to Pozi Street for a good meal. Stinky tofu, chopped pepper fish head and crayfish will surely fulfill all your fantasies about Hunan cuisine.
The second day of Orange Island
When you come to Changsha, you must go to Orange Island to see the water. After breakfast, you can stroll around Orange Island, climb up to the Du Fujiang Pavilion, look at the Xiangjiang River to the north, pay homage to the statue of a great man, and walk slowly around it. A morning will pass, and if you're lucky you can come across a fireworks show at Orange Island (starts at 8pm, most Saturdays).
The next day at Yuelu Mountain
When you come to Changsha, you must go to Yuelu Mountain to enjoy the scenery. After a break at noon, you can go to Yuelu Mountain in the afternoon, visit the Lushan Temple, burn incense and worship Buddha, it's worth a visit. Along the path all the way, you can enjoy the flowers and birds along the way, slowly walk to the top of the mountain, watch the sunset at dusk, and then take the cable car down the mountain, you can see the whole of Changsha's scenery. Isn't it it's not beautiful?

Museums on Day 3

Most famous for Lady Xinchu and the Mawangdui Han Tomb, this place focuses on thousands of years of Hunan culture.
