There are two different versions of the story of Tinker Bell's birth: the manga version, and the short story that was released in 1995. The plot of the former goes like this:
Tinker Bell is a 22nd-century cat-like childcare robot whose main function is to help humans take care of children. But Tinker Bell was defective at the factory, so it had to be put up for auction in the bargain-basement department of a department store. The Sesshu family (Nobita's great-grandchildren), who are not very wealthy, see the item and buy it to take care of Sesshu, who is still a baby.
At Sesshu's home, Tinker Bell lives up to the expectations of the family and takes on the responsibility of caring for Sesshu very seriously (although there are often small mistakes... .... After all, it's a defective product ........ ^^││││) to play with Shishu, and also become good friends with Shishu!
One day, Tinker Bell, who had a hard time putting Shishu to sleep, finally had the chance to run to Cloud's chair for a nap. But while sleeping ...... something unfortunate happened .......
A large part of his ear was gnawed off by a mouse!

In [Tinker Bell's Birth in 2112], which was released as a movie in 1995, the story was partially changed. The basic setting of Tinker Bell remains the same, but his arrival at the Sesshu family is quite different:
Tinker Bell was struck by lightning when he left the factory, so when he entered the robot development school, he never performed as well as the other robots at the same time. When all robots graduate from the Foster School, the school holds a showcase assembly that can be viewed by a national audience. If you are satisfied with the robot's performance, you can buy it by pressing the button at hand. In other words, the robots will have to work hard to sell themselves so that they don't fall into the "no one wants them" category.
No matter how hard Tinker Bell tries to perform at the show, no one wants her. ...... Just as the show is about to end, someone finally pushes the button: it turns out to be the baby Shishu who accidentally pushed it!
Tinker Bell and Sesshu became good friends when they arrived at Sesshu's house by mistake. One day, on a whim to make a Tinker Bell-shaped clay doll to give to him, Shishu took out Robot Mouse to help him, trying to fix the ears to look more like Tinker Bell. But the robot mouse misunderstood and ran off to nibble on the real Tinker Bell's ears!
Distraught, Tinker Bell saw that he was missing his ears and was being mocked by his favorite cat robot Doramiko, and tried to drink the Source of Genki in an attempt to cheer up, but accidentally drank the wrong Source of Tragedy, and cried for three days and three nights, not only until the yellow paint fell off, but even his voice was muffled!!!! It also became what it is now!
There's a little tidbit later in this screening story. After Tinker Bell learns that Seishu has disappeared in search of him, she is encouraged by Tinker Bell to regroup, and by mistake, she helps the Time Police catch a couple of Time's Most Wanted criminals, and gets a lot of credit for it. After finally reuniting with Tinker Bell, Sehyo happily says that he recognizes Tinker Bell no matter what she has become! Doramiko also apologizes. Doramiko also apologized, and in honor of Tinker Bell's efforts, the Time Police produced a special commemorative edition of the Minidora that looks exactly like Tinker Bell!
