The clouds in Yunnan are different from other places and have their own uniqueness. It is lighter, whiter, richer and more elegant than other places. Whether in Kunming, Dali, Lijiang or Shangri-La, it floats freely, like a flock of birds soaring in the sky.
I have seen the clouds in Xinjiang, Qinghai, Tibet and Hainan, but the only thing I can remember now is the clouds in Yunnan. In my opinion, the clouds in Yunnan are alive. It's like a hermit. It doesn't pursue fame and gain, and it doesn't suffer from loss. It just floats quietly in the air. It is like a gentleman, not arguing, not demanding, everything pays attention to let nature take its course. There are both the compassion of Buddhists to appease passers-by's broken hearts, and the detachment of Taoists to govern by doing nothing, so that all the joys and sorrows are staged repeatedly in the world.
However, clouds in Yunnan are not always encountered. Comparatively speaking, it is easier to meet in summer. Perhaps the water vapor cycle is stronger in summer, and it seems to be the same elsewhere. See luck in winter. At first, I thought there were no clouds in windy weather, because the clouds were blown away by the wind. One day, however, there was no strong wind all day, but there were no white clouds. But it is also sunny, sometimes cloudy, sometimes cloudless, so that I can't discover the mysteries of nature.

The south of Yunnan is characterized by warmth. Kunming, known as the Spring City, is one of the most livable cities. Dali is as warm as Kunming in altitude and latitude. I don't feel cold when I come here in spring, summer and winter. Even in stormy winter, the wind on my face is not cold. In Hunan, my hometown with similar latitude, even if the wind is smaller than this, I still feel biting.
However, although you are in the south, if you don't go south to the south of Yunnan, such as Xishuangbanna, it's not hot in summer in Yunnan, especially at night, the cool wind blows across the earth, bringing coolness to every impatient heart. This is a gift from nature, just as Su Shi said in "Red Cliff Fu", "Listen to the river wind, the moon in the mountains, and the eyes are endless."
Unfortunately, ancient Yunnan was still a wild place. Those literati and poets can't come here to enjoy flowers and snow, so they can't have sex with the moon and leave immortal poems. Born in such an era of developed material civilization, how many of us still have the ancient people's sensibility and expressiveness to beauty?
