Hip-Hop Culture
Literally, Hip is Hip, Hop is one-legged hop, and together they are hip-twisting.
Hip-Hop literally translates to "hip-hop".
In China, the term "street dance" is generally used to refer to Hip-Hop.
Hip-Hop consists of four main elements:
MC (rap, rhythm, poetry and recitation),
Breakdancing (twisting and spinning),
Graffiti (art, spraying, drawing, and painting),
DJ (mixing, cutting, and rubbing).
Hip-Hop has evolved to the point where it is no longer just a musical term,
but a synonym for an emerging culture and lifestyle,
including music, clothing, and behavioral styles that we call "Hip-HopCulture. We call it "Hip-Culture",
which is usually translated as "Street Dance Culture" in China.
Hip-hop music has become the most important part of the popular music market in street dance culture;
Oversized clothing is the most recognizable and classic symbol of this culture.
Currently, more and more "street dance culture" has appeared all over the world:
The poor graffiti is common in the alleys of hutongs and lanes; the record stores are full of Hip-Hop music;
Life is always passing through the mouths of the people around us,
In life, we are surrounded by young people in fat street-dance attire;
In front of shopping malls, street-dancing is a big hit.
"Street dance culture" is "invading" our lives in various ways.
In reality, strong music, people watching,
jumping, twisting, spinning, swinging youthful teenagers can be seen everywhere.
The performance stage is the city of traffic, they close their eyes to separate the crowd,
they wave their hands to enter the heaven. Their dances may not be the most elegant,
but they have become the most "dazzling" form of recreation among teenagers.
Nowadays, there are teenagers practicing street dance all over the world,
and they can be seen training on skateboards in the street squares of the world's major cities.
The most prominent spirit of street culture itself is:
Creativity - which is probably the most moving thing about teenagers.
In the United States, Japan and South Korea, all kinds of bizarre and strange street bands,
as if springing up, Hip-Hop music in the teenagers can be said to compete for the world without fail.
Hip-Hop music has long been a major revenue generator for the American entertainment industry.
The late 1990s saw the emergence of handsome American Eminem,
who became the hottest superstar in Hip-Hop in just one year.
Being white, he shattered any doubt that Hip-Hop was only for "savage" blacks.
In China, many famous artists, such as Jay Chou, Chen Xiaochun and XIAO Ya-xuan, have performed live in concerts,
and the street-dancing teenager's posture has appeared frequently.
