Cangshan District, belonging to Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, is located in the south of Fuzhou City, surrounded by rivers, and governs the whole Nantai Island. Minjiang River in the north faces Gulou, Taijiang, Jin 'an and Mawei across the river, Mawei Port in the east is 7.6 1 nautical mile from the sea, and Wulong River in the south is connected with Changle and Minhou.

Cangshan District belonged to Fujian County and Houguan County in Fuzhou in ancient times, and was named after the salt warehouse. Cangshan was called Tengshan in ancient times. During the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, there was a salt warehouse at the northern foot of the mountain, commonly known as the front of the salt warehouse, and Tengshan was also called Zangqianshan for short, hence the name of the district.
20 14 Cangshan district has jurisdiction over eight streets, namely Huhu, Shangdu, Cang Qian, Sancha Street, Xiadu, Linjiang, Dongsheng and Jinshan, and five towns, namely Jianxin, Gaishan, Luozhou, Chengmen and Cangshan. There are 13 township administrative districts, 64 communities and 102 village committees in the whole region.
