"Farewell" by Bai Juyi
In late fall, we talk of parting, the cold wind and leaves fill the stream.
There is no limit to the generosity and emotion in my heart, and I want to turn around to speak with tears on my clothes.
The green hills will not change, the water will flow forever, the moon will still be bright and the stars will be scarce.
There is no limit to the length of time that the world can last, and there is no end to this hatred.
Translation:
Saying goodbye in late autumn, the cold wind blows, the creek is full of fallen leaves,
There are infinite feelings in my chest, I turn around and want to say something, but my tears have already stained my clothes,
The green mountains do not change, the water flows for a long time, the bright moon is still like this, and the stars are gradually becoming sparse,
There is an end of days sometimes, this hatred extends without end. but this hatred is endless and unbroken.

Bai Juyi (772) was a poet, and he was the first to write a poem on the subject. p>Bai Juyi (772 - 846), courtesy name Lotte, Jushi Xiangshan, also known as Mr. Drunken Yin, was born in Xinzheng, Henan Province, and was originally from Taiyuan, but moved to Xiqi by the time of his great-grandfather. He was a great realist poet of the Tang Dynasty, one of the three great poets of the Tang Dynasty. Bai Juyi and Yuan Zhen*** advocated the new music movement, known as "Yuan Bai", and Liu Yuxi, known as "Liu Bai".
Bai Juyi's poetry has a wide range of subjects and forms, and his language is easy to understand, so he is known as the "Poetry Devil" and the "King of Poetry". Bai Juyi was a scholar of the Hanlin Academy and the left minister of Zanshan. In 846 AD, Bai Juyi died in Luoyang and was buried in Xiangshan Mountain. There are Bai's Changqing Jie (Collection of Bai's Changqing), representing poems such as Song of Long Hatred, The Charcoal Seller, and Pipa Xing.
