The end of the Ming Dynasty, the "Southern Ming" dynasty (the regime only lasted for 40 days) was also the capital of the city of Guangzhou, AD 1646 11 2 Southern Ming Dynasty, the capital of the city of Guangzhou. On November 2, 1646, the Tang King of the Southern Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuji, was proclaimed emperor in Guangzhou under the patronage of Su Guansheng, with the yearly name of "Shaowu".
In modern history, Guangzhou also had a short history of being the capital. Two presidents had built the capital in Guangzhou:
