The Olympic Forest Park is located in Lincui Road, North Fifth Ring Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, from Anli Road in the east to Lincui Road in the west, Qinghe River in the north and Kehui Road in the south. The park covers an area of 680 hectares, of which the south park covers 380 hectares and the north park covers 300 hectares. The park's south entrance is bounded on the north side by the Olympic Sea, and on the south bank by the open-air Performing Arts Plaza, which is connected to the Olympic Scenic Boulevard and has a surface area of about 40,000 square meters, and can accommodate 20,000 spectators at the same time. The grandstand design of the Performing Arts Plaza is accomplished by the gentle slope of the terrain from south to north. On the north side of the open-air Performing Arts Plaza, there is also a large set of musical laser fountains in the main lake, with the main jet 80 meters high.

The amphitheater is located in the northern part of the south entrance, which is mainly composed of the stage plaza, media area, viewing area and underground building, together with the fountain water feature and landscape stage, forming an outdoor performance venue.
