Sociology questions about square dancing, seeking answers

Actually, I think everyone is a bit over-demonizing and entertaining square dancing.

The media is responsible for picking the spit, and all of you are responsible for spitting it out, and gradually square dancing is not even a neutral word anymore...

Usually, there are too many negative reports about square dancing on the internet, but in fact most of the square dances don't disturb the residents or anything... At least not on my side of the street...

I think most of the people who participate in it have a very simple reason for doing it: they have some time before they go to bed after dinner, so they go out and do something. I don't think it's as much fun to run and walk as it is to square dance, and it's not as effective a workout as square dancing.

Plus most of the middle-aged and elderly people are not around, usually at home is also quite boring, the evening about a few age about the same living in the neighborhood of the old lady activities together to talk about, and you young people go out to social is a meaning.
