Distribution of gravity on the feet in cha-cha-cha
The rhythm of cha-cha-cha is much faster than that of rumba, so the center of gravity can not be placed on one foot as much as in rumba. Therefore the gravity distribution in cha-cha-cha is about 7:3 to 6:4 ratio, so that you can switch the center of gravity faster.
Similarly, for faster movement, the distribution of gravity in a static stance is 7:3 on the forefoot and 7:3 on the heel, roughly similar to the distribution of power between the two feet.
