On July 25, Guiyang City’s 2016 Yi Torch Festival cultural event was held in Hushan Yi Village, Qingzhen City.
This cultural activity is hosted by the Guiyang Yi Society and hosted by the Qingzhen Civil and Ethnic Bureau and the Qingzhen Yi Society. At noon that day, Yi compatriots dressed in festive costumes gathered in Hushan Yi Village one after another. Everyone sat together, exchanged experiences of production and life, taught Yi songs and Yi dances, and waited for the opening of the event. At three o'clock in the afternoon, the opening ceremony kicked off, featuring the Yi people's "Drinking Song" Hengzhu bead combination, "Six Strings Together" Yi ancient musical instrument ensemble, the Yi people's dance "Returning from the Fair", the "Chinese Dream" costume show, etc. The theatrical performance made a brilliant debut, and the performance full of national characteristics received bursts of applause and cheers from the audience. At eight o'clock in the evening, as three piles of torches were lit in three different directions: east, south and west, the whole square suddenly boiled. The bonfire party began grandly. Along with the cheerful music beat, everyone held hands, walked and danced around. A dance was performed under the blazing bonfire, which lasted until about ten o'clock in the evening before we said goodbye reluctantly.
