Is it a scam to get a gold medal in China Square Dance Competition with a cash reward?

As a square dance lover, I have participated in many activities, and I have also participated in the activities that China loves dancing. I feel fair from the order of performance to the grading. I think the competition is fair. It is impossible to lose the trust of an excellent team or even a regional dance team because of a little cash reward.
