Dai Temple is located in the southern foot of Mount Tai, Tai'an City, was built in the Qin and Han dynasties, is the ancient emperors and kings to worship the gods of Mount Tai, held ceremonies, but also a famous Taoist shrine.

Dai Temple's architectural complex is so grand in scale that it is known as one of the four major ancient architectural complexes in China, together with the Forbidden City in Beijing, the three holes in Qufu, Shandong Province, and the Summer Resort in Chengde. Nowadays, the lofty palace is well preserved here, and you can enjoy the national treasure of the huge murals of the Song Dynasty as well as numerous ancient inscriptions.

The whole Dai Temple was created in accordance with the shape of the palace city of the ancient emperors, with high battlements and magnificent halls, showing the grandeur of the ancient royal temples everywhere. Entering Dai Temple from the south to the north, you can go through the main buildings such as Remote Pavilion, Dai Temple Square, Zhengyang Gate, Wutian Gate, Ren'an Gate, etc., and then arrive at the Temple of Heavenly Bestowal.

The tall Zhengyang Gate is the main gate to enter Dai Temple, and only emperors could enter through this gate in ancient times. Tian Kuang Hall is the core building of Dai Temple, which is the shrine of Dongyue Da Di, in which Taishan God (i.e. Dongyue Da Di) is enshrined, and there is a huge mural "Taishan God Qibi Hui Luang Tu" of Song Dynasty painted on the north, east and west walls of the hall.
