w-inds. is a hiphop
dance singing group composed of three teenagers of 19 years old on average, including vocalist Orange Keita, Chiba Ryuhei, who is in charge of the chorus and dance, and Ogata Ryuichi. The group received unanimous praise and support from all
evaluators for their transparent and overwhelmingly present voices at the Kyushu and Okinawa newcomer auditions held by their office, and out of more than 10,000 participants

w-inds. (ウィンズ), a J-POP hip-hop dance group consisting of Keita, the lead singer, and Ryouhei and Ryuichi, who are the backup dancers for the chorus.
Keita, the lead singer, was the only male contestant in the final round of the competition after being recruited by more than 8,000 people from an audition in Okinawa, Kyushu, and received a great deal of support for his voice, which was transparent and overwhelmingly present. In addition, Ryouhei and Ryuichi, contemporaries of the Sapporo Dance School in Hokkaido, grew up in the dance program and were noticed for their extraordinary talents.
When the winds of the north (Hokkaido) and the south (Kyushu) come together in Tokyo to challenge the idol market with their frank and refreshing impressions, w-inds. was born in Japan.
Before their debut, since November 2000, the trio has been performing on the streets of Yoyogi Park and Shibuya every Sunday under the arrangement of the company. Initially, there were only three Kwanzus, but as the weekly following expanded, by March 11, 2001, before their debut, a full 8,000 people had been mobilized for the Shibuya show.
On March 14, 2001, w-inds. made their debut with their accumulated popularity! After their debut, they went on a nationwide tour from Sapporo to Fukuoka, creating a powerful whirlwind of performances all over the country. The yearly 3rd album "w-inds.~PRIME OF LIFE~" is a refreshingly different style of music, showing the growth of w-inds. in the past three years.
In early 2004, w-inds. continued to work hard to enter their fourth year of existence. "Pieces" by Retro-G-Style returned to a medium-slow version of the soothing tunes, and "キレイだ" by スキ マスイッチ expanded the range of w-inds. as a singer, and released their first album of the three years of their debut in the summer.
