The flowers on the roadside are in full bloom.
The fruit on the tree is waiting for someone to pick it.
The flowers on the roadside are in full bloom.
The fruit on the tree is waiting for someone to pick it.
That cellulose, that alas, alas.
Guests coming from afar, please stay.
Guests from afar, please stay.
Alas, alas, alas, alas, alas
Cerro-Cerro, Ceroli-Elo.
Guests coming from afar, please stay.
Guests from afar, please stay.
Alas, alas, alas, alas, alas
Full ears of grain fluttered in the wind.
I hope people cut it off. Cut it off.
That cellulose, that alas, alas.
Guests coming from afar, please stay.
Guests from afar, please stay.
Alas, alas, alas, alas, alas
Cerro-Cerro, Ceroli-Elo.
Guests coming from afar, please stay.
Guests from afar, please stay.
Alas, alas, alas, alas, alas
The girls are grazing the white sheep.
They will come back at sunset.

Extended data:
Guests from afar, please stay, was written by Fan Yu and composer Mai Dingyu 1953 in April. The inspiration of this song comes from the warm and simple compatriots of the Yi people in Yunnan. The theme of this song is set by the Sani-style tune of the Yi people, and at the same time it is mixed into the music of the folk song "herding sheep".
Creative inspiration
When Fan Yu and Mai Ding came to Lunan County, Yunnan Province, they were warmly received by local residents. They are good at singing and dancing, and they like to express their welcome to guests from afar by singing.
The songwriter Mading recalled: "I lived in the stockade for about two months. I was deeply attracted by the native music art in these minority areas, and was moved by the hardworking, kind and hospitable Sani compatriots. All this makes me have a strong desire to create. I set the theme with Sani-style tunes and mixed them into the music of the folk song "herding sheep".
