What does Dai umbrella dance express?

Umbrella dance is one of the traditional dances of Dai people. Whenever Dai people come to celebrate festivals such as Water-splashing Festival and going to new houses, Dai family members have to skydive. It has the following characteristics:

1. Although most of the movements of Dai dance are beautiful and the rhythm is relatively gentle, it is soft outside and firm inside, and full of strength inside.

2. Dai dance includes not only "hat dance", but also elephant foot drum dance, knife dance, boxing dance, etc. It is flexible, vigorous, agile and full of masculinity.

3. Dai Dance's feelings are implicit, sometimes the rhythm is fast and changeable, the movements are flexible and jumping, and the feelings are wild and generous.

4. The "three bends" of hands, feet and body formed by the unique dynamic law of flexion and extension of Dai dance.
