Reflection after class:

During the conversation with the students before class, I found that the students were unfamiliar with Premier Zhou. I asked the students to find some stories about Premier Zhou and the introduction to the Water Splashing Festival outside class. In the first lesson, I introduced the Dai people and the Water Splashing Festival in detail. These aroused students' interest in Songkran Festival. In addition to these foreshadowings, I think the combination of pictures and text is the best way to guide students to understand the connotation of the text. In the second lesson, I arranged text illustrations to allow students to observe Premier Zhou's clothes and expressions as well as the expressions of the people around him. The purpose is to enable students to imagine while reading the text and understand the exciting scenes in the text. The Dai people's feelings towards the Prime Minister That unforgettable emotion.

However, in this class, I did not handle the reading of the key sentence of the third natural paragraph well. I spent too much time reading the sentence of the lively scene in front. The students' feelings for the Prime Minister were not deepened and the students could not read it. . It feels very bland. In the third link, the language transition from pictures to text is not clear enough and feels a bit confusing. Fortunately, the homework design of the fifth natural paragraph leads students' thinking to the right path and helps students understand the text correctly. The focus of this lesson is not outstanding enough. The reason is that the reading time of the key sentences is not enough. There are still some students who have not implemented the goals for the first lesson. If trial teaching is conducted before class, problems with link transitions will be avoided. I think I should be more careful and consider the issues more carefully when taking teaching and research classes in the future. This time should be a good lesson.
