Dongdaemun MarketThe Dongdaemun South Korean wholesale clothing business district in Seoul is Asia's most famous fashion, sightseeing and shopping district. It is known for its large number of late-night shoppers. Dongdaemun reportedly consists of 29 large market buildings, more than 30,000 specialty stores, and more than 50,000 manufacturing companies, with a daily transient population of more than 4 million. It is Seoul's veritable shopping kingdom. Dongdaemun Market is open 24 hours a day and is a shopper's paradise for young people, so it has also developed a unique consumer culture atmosphere. It is unique only when you are there.
Dongdaemun has a wide variety of things from small fashionable decorations to men's clothing, women's American clothing and shoes at much cheaper prices than anywhere else, so it is always surrounded by local city retailers as well as foreign businessmen and tourists. It is known for its large number of shoppers in the middle of the night. Wholesalers, workers and foreign tourists from all over the country make up the sea of people. Glorious lights and crowded people make Dongdaemun Market even more splendid at night than during the day.
Dongdaemun Market is divided into the first district, where Doosan Tower is located, and the second district around Dongdaemun Stadium, bounded by Jung-ro (refer to the map below). The first mall, which functions as both a wholesale and retail mall, actually focuses on retail, so it is frequented by regular customers and tourists. Convenient services such as money-changing windows and foreign-language guides are specially prepared for this purpose.
The large shopping area by the Dongdaemun Sports Complex also functions as both a wholesale and retail mall, but wholesale sales are the main focus here, so it is open from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. or 5 p.m. the next day. Late at night and early in the morning, it's busier here than during the day, but it's hard to find fitting rooms because it's so expensive. it's' mainly wholesale. Also, it is important to note that there are usually no refunds or exchanges after the fact, so choose carefully when buying. In addition to Dongdaemun, the Dongdaemun district is also home to the familiar Dongdaemun Stadium and Dongdaemun Baseball Stadium, both of which have a variety of sporting goods stores on the first floor.
Shopping tips
1The malls are crowded on weekends and in the evenings, so you can easily shop on weekdays or during the day.
2 Clothes of the same style have different prices. After selecting the items you need, compare the prices in other stores. Since the stores are as dense as a pigeonhole, it's easier to write down the labels and look for them again.
You can exchange, but you can not return. So try them on in the fitting room and scrutinize the workmanship, stitching, lining, etc.
It's cheaper to use cash than credit cards.
5You can pay back about 10% per store, and there are other stores that don't t.

Myungdong Pedestrian Street
Myungdong is a place reminiscent of a large shopping city. Generally speaking, Myeongdong Street is a street about 1km long from Myeongdong Station on Subway Line 4 to Branch B and Lotte Department Store.
Here, a variety of brand name stores, department stores, bonded stores, etc. are all crowded together. It is known as a fashion center where you can buy a variety of fashion trend-setting clothes, shoes, hats, accessories and more. Unlike South Gate and East Gate, this place is characterized by a concentration of quality branded products.
First of all, department stores include Lotte Department Store, Shinsegae Department Store, and shopping centers such as U2Zone, Myelio, and AbaTar on Myeongdong Street. While department stores mainly buy high-end goods, bonded shopping centers such as Myelio Mall and AbaTar Mall allow you to buy fashionable goods at low prices. There are also a variety of brand-name specialty stores clustered along Central Avenue and the hutongs on either side.
In Myeong-dong, there is a lot of good food and fun to be had in addition to shopping. For food, there are Western restaurants, fast food restaurants, Korean, Western and Japanese restaurants. Among them, Myeongdong Fried Pork Cutlet and Knife Cut Noodles are the most famous. You might as well try them.
In addition, Myeong-dong has beauty stores, banks, theaters, and other facilities for the convenience of tourists. Special mention should be made of - Myeongdong Reserve is a must-visit place in Myeongdong. This is the earliest Catholic church in Korea, with pure Gothic architecture in an ancient style. Behind the church there is a place where people can take a rest in this disaster-prone city and where tourists can relieve the fatigue of traveling.

Insa-dong - Insa-dong was a place where government officials and two types of private houses were concentrated during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). From the late Japanese period with the American occupation of Korea, the two fallen classes in Insadong took their properties and sold them for money, so some antique stores came into being here. Later, galleries and related stores came to display antiques in Insa-dong Antique Street, and Insa-dong gradually became a cultural street where cultural goods were bought and sold.
Generally speaking, Insadong is the area from Angukdong Roundabout through the Insadong intersection to the front of Tapgok Park on Jongno 2 Street. Insadong is centered on Jungang-dori Street and surrounded by many hutongs so densely packed that it looks like a spider's web. Hidden in the hutongs are many famous Insadongs. To find the famous places deep in the hutongs, it's best to bring a map with a starting point, Insa-dong, and an ending point, Insa-dong Jungang-dori, with the Visitor Information Center in the middle.
Tourist souvenirs such as ancient artworks, various modern artworks, hanboks, ceramics, and various handicrafts can be purchased in Insa-dong, with ancient artworks and modern artworks being the most relevant. Another pleasure of visiting Insadong is the traditional Korean restaurants and traditional teahouses in the hutongs. The traditional restaurants and teahouses have retained their characteristic Korean style and mood and are popular among Koreans and foreign tourists.

The long stretches of sandy beaches are covered with thick fine sand, which is as soft as jade when you step on it. As night falls, the beach looks even more secluded under the warm yellow lights of Busan. Feel free to sit up and look at the ink-colored seascape in the distance, with the dazzling incandescent lights shining evenly behind you. This is Gundae, where night and light intertwine. It's the blending of a noisy world with serenity.
