Shaoshan Red Sun Plaza is located in the east of Shaoshan administrative center, covering an area of 7,900 square meters, and consists of a fan-shaped cultural activity performance area and a leisure area. The square was built by Zhuzhou City in response to the call of "remembering Chairman Mao and building a new Shaoshan". It is integrated with Shaoshan Mao Zedong Museum of Literature and Art, Mao Zedong Youth Statue Park and Martyrs Cemetery, and will become a new highlight of the city's red tourism.
It is reported that Red Sun Plaza was built by Zhuzhou Municipal Government with a donation of 5 million yuan in response to the call of "Building Shaoshan to commemorate Chairman Mao". The square is located in the east of Shaoshan administrative center, covering an area of 7900 square meters. The performance area and leisure area of fan-shaped cultural activities constitute Nuoda Square. The leisure area is located on both sides of the performance area, with dense trees, winding paths and colorful lights, which is a good place for citizens to relax. There is an artificial lake on the east side of the square, with blue waves rippling. Against the backdrop of the lake, the Shaoshan Mao Zedong Museum of Literature and Art, which means "rooted in the earth, one person through the ages", stands solemnly. The square blends these different styles of elements together, which is natural, and together with * * * constitutes a magnificent picture of harmony between man and nature. At the same time, the square is connected with Mao Zedong Museum of Literature and Art, Mao Zedong Youth Statue Park and Shaoshan Martyrs Cemetery, which will surely become a new bright spot of Shaoshan red tourism.
It is understood that Shaoshan Red Sun Square is the largest city center square in our city at present. Its completion will further improve the city function, enhance the city image and optimize the living environment, so that Shaoshan will take a big step towards the goal of "the city is in the scenery, the garden is in the city, and the green is in front of the window".
