There are not a few people who are physically disabled and determined in society. The following is an inspirational story of natural disability compiled by me. Welcome to read it!
1. Zheng Longhua-a famous photographer without hands
Zheng Longhua, male, was born in Lin 'an City, Zhejiang Province in May 1959. He lost his hands in childhood and began to teach himself photography in 1981. He has held various forms of photography exhibitions at home and abroad and won many awards in various film competitions. On May 2th, 26, Zheng Longhua started the "Light of Life" in his hometown of Lin 'an, Zhejiang Province-a photography activity in which a hands-free photographer talked with 1 disabled elites. After more than two years, he has traveled to more than 1 counties and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan alone, with a journey of 6. 37.19 million kilometers, interviewed 1 disabled elites from all walks of life, and took 4 pictures. More than 5, pictures, 52, words of written materials, and 19 interviews. 86 thousand words. In May 27, Zheng Longhua was awarded as a model worker in Hangzhou.
The photo of 1 successful disabled people taken by him, A Handless Photographer Converses with 1 Successful Disabled People in China, shows the success stories of disabled people who have no sound hands or feet or even can't stand upright.
Zheng Longhua, 49, said, "I choose to show their sunny side instead of paying attention to their limbs. Although the shooting is more visually impactful, I hope these works can bring people hope and encouragement. " He spent nearly three years for this group of photos.
He used the lens to record the successful disabled people: Tan Chuanhua, who lost his right hand but founded the legend of "Tan Carpenter" wooden comb; Wang Jiangmin, an anti-virus software expert who founded "Jiangmin Software" although his legs were inconvenient due to childhood illness; Yuan Jianming, who was in a wheelchair to promote environmental protection, in Qinting Town, Qingshui County, Gansu Province … Zheng Longhua wanted to show the "sound" life of the disabled. "I hope these works are a mirror, through which everyone can see themselves: these disabled people can succeed in doing things under such circumstances, and everyone should work harder."
As Zheng Longhua worked hard, the photos encouraged many visitors. Ge Bin, an 18-year-old from Beijing No.4 School for the Deaf, said in sign language: "Before coming to see the exhibition, I felt very confused. But seeing these photos, I was very moved. I want to cherish every day of my life and work hard. " He pointed to a photo of a disabled athlete and said, "I can feel her hard work!" "
Liu Jianchao, a 19-year-old from Beijing No.4 School for the Deaf, said in sign language: "I come from Sichuan. After the Wenchuan earthquake, many people there, like us, unfortunately became disabled. They need to use these stories to carry out inspirational education and face life bravely."
Zheng Longhua is no stranger to the tempering of life since he fell into a fire bed at the age of 1 and lost his hands. He wrote with a pen between his wrists, but was rejected when he was admitted to the university twice, and hit a wall when he was looking for a job ... When he was in trouble, his classmates sent him an old camera. At the age of 22, he began to operate this "precision instrument" with his wrists and took pictures of villagers. Two years later, he won the first prize in Shanghai.
"photography gave me confidence for the first time. I used to be introverted and closed to myself because I knew I was different from others. " ..... Zheng Longhua said, "When other photographers patted me on the shoulder and said,' Old Zheng, it was a good shot', I felt that I could create good works in art just like them."
The life experience of disabled people is different from others. Zheng Longhua thinks that the biggest difference is that "there are more difficulties than success, and everything needs a lot of effort". "What disabled people need most is spiritual encouragement". In his view, the most fatal blow to disabled people is "losing confidence".
Zheng Longhua used to work in the Disabled Persons' Federation in Lin 'an City, Zhejiang Province. This experience made him more familiar with the feelings of disabled people: "Disabled people are more sensitive. Sometimes, your eyes and disdainful actions are nothing to ordinary people, but they may be different to disabled people. They may think more. This is also understandable. "
In his view, social security for the disabled has improved rapidly in recent years, including education and employment, but it "still lags behind social development". There is a principle widely spread in the training of volunteers in the Paralympic Games: when helping the disabled, you must first ask the permission of the other party. "Let him do what he can. For example, disabled people sometimes need to work on their own, rather than waiting for help. "
2. Yang Pei wants to fly without arms
Yang Pei, female, Han nationality, born in 199, is physically disabled and comes from Pingli County, Shaanxi Province. When he was 9 years old, he was shocked by high voltage. Although he lost his arms, he was always optimistic and did not give in to fate. Now Xiao Yangpei goes to Beijing to work with her mother. She always has a wish in her heart. After she has a sum of money, she will continue to study further and then do what she likes. Yang Pei especially likes singing and dancing, hoping to have her own art troupe for the disabled in the future.
Yang Pei, who lives in Mengxijie Village, Xinglong Town, Pingli County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province, has many restless factors. The transformer in the village is placed in the middle of the village, and the children always like to pull the diagonal cable of the high-voltage line pole when they come and go. At the age of 9, when Yang Pei went to school after lunch one day, he used to pull the diagonal cable by hand, but Yang Pei didn't expect that the diagonal cable had been loosened and met with the high-voltage line.
Fate changed the course of Yang Pei's life in an instant. For Yang Pei, who hasn't started her brilliant life, amputation means the abandonment of her studies and the absence of life.
Since then, the family has become more difficult, so parents have to make other arrangements: the father stayed at home with his younger brother, while the mother took Yang Pei and chose to go out to work to earn money. Without hands, it is difficult to take care of yourself, let alone work to make money. Xiao Yangpei slowly practiced replacing hands with feet and trained a pair of flexible feet. But the reality is too cruel. No unit is willing to accept Yang Pei without hands. In desperation, Yang Pei chose to beg.
Yang Pei knows very well that disabled people must be self-reliant and confident before they can stand on their own feet. Self-improvement requires one's own skills. Without expertise, one can't find a job. Even if one has a job, one will be eliminated sooner or later. Yang Pei wants to find a suitable major according to his own conditions, and then study hard to make a difference in society. Yang Pei's begging now is to gather capital, and Yang Pei's dream is to save enough money to finish his studies, so that he can be educated and knowledgeable, and become a disabled person. Yang Pei's favorite thing to do is dancing. Yang Pei's dream is to be an artist and a dancer without arms.
Yang Pei never lost his dream of life and firmly believed that he could survive the adversity. Yang Pei is ordinary, as ordinary as a grass on the roadside, unknown; Yang Pei is extraordinary. She can pursue spiritual sublimation in adversity, even if she begs, it is also for flying.
3. Huang Yu-a "glass doll" who won a better life < P > Huang Yu, male, Han nationality, born in 1967, is physically disabled. He is a native of Xuhui District, Shanghai, and is now a lettering arts and crafts firm in "Xiaoyu Pavilion", Shanghai. He was born with osteogenesis imperfecta, resulting in severe disability of his lower limbs. He did not go to school for a day, participated in distance university education, and obtained a number of single-subject graduation certificates from the English self-taught examination. Founded "Xiaoyu Pavilion" lettering society in 1991, it has developed from the start-up capital of 1 yuan, and now it has become a medium-sized service enterprise with an annual turnover of more than 6, yuan; It has solved the employment of 15 disabled people and laid-off workers, and has been rated as one of the top 1 stars and self-improvement models of the disabled in Shanghai.
In the bustling Changle Road in Shanghai, there is a lettering handicraft company called Xiaoyu Pavilion. The owner of this Xiaoyu Pavilion is Huang Yu, who is born with osteogenesis imperfecta. Even sneezing or turning over in bed may lead to fracture, and in severe cases, even death. His life is as fragile as glass and has become a "glass doll". When Huang Yu was 13 or 14 years old, he had broken at least 4 times in more than 3 years, resulting in systemic deformity, and his pain was unbearable!
Huang Yu's mother is Wang Mengyun, a famous Peking Opera performer. In the 196s, she played the mother of Li Yongqi in The Tiger Mountain. My son will always be a disabled person, and Yang Pei's inner pain is only his own. In order to treat his son, Yang wore Xiaoyu to all hospitals in Beijing and Shanghai, but experts said that there was no hope of cure at present. Because the muscles are atrophied and cannot be reshaped, the other parts of my son's legs and limbs are gradually bent and deformed. Disability is an unchangeable fact. Xiaoyu can't live and study like other normal children, which is very painful, but he also realizes that pain and sadness can't solve the problem. Only by facing disability calmly and bravely fighting can life be beautiful.
Knowledge enriched his spiritual life. As he grew older, Huang Yu began to learn a skill to make a living, and finally became an apprentice in a small stamp carving shop. Although the salary is only 36 yuan's money, he has his first job, and he goes to work day after day, rain or shine, because this is the beginning of his integration into society and self-reliance. After five years of hard work, everything comes to him who waits. Huang Yu learned a lot here, which laid the foundation for his business. He said: "The opportunity is in your own hands. Don't miss any opportunity that is in front of you." In 1991, he sprouted the idea of starting his own business, and with the support of his parents and friends, he founded the "Xiaoyu Pavilion" lettering handicraft trading company. Since its opening, after 17 years of development, it now has two sales offices and a studio, with an area of more than 2 square meters, fixed assets of more than 3, yuan, and a annual camp of nearly 7,. The company has 12 employees, half of whom are disabled. In this regard, Huang Yu has his own ideas: "There are many entrepreneurs of all kinds in business. If I just compare with others how much money I can earn every month, I am far behind others, but I can help my disabled friends and really do something beneficial to society. For disabled people like me, it is more meaningful than making money." Huang Yu was affirmed by the society, and served as the vice chairman of Shanghai Association for the Physically Handicapped and the director of the Youth Committee of the Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation. In 22, he was named as a model of self-improvement in Shanghai, and in 23, he was named "Top Ten Youth" in Xuhui. In the spring of 24, Huang Yu married a gentle, virtuous and lovely sitting volleyball player in Shanghai, and ushered in a beautiful life.
4. Li Zhihua —— "Foot Art" college student
Li Zhihua, female, Han nationality, born in 1984, physically disabled, from Zhalute Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is an undergraduate in the Art and Design Department of Xi 'an Eurasia University. She lost her arms in a fire. She didn't go to high school. Through tenacious study, she was admitted to a junior college and upgraded to a junior college. Now she is preparing for the master's degree in calligraphy department in 28. At the beginning of April 25, the Ministry of Education, the China Disabled Persons' Federation, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the All-China Women's Federation jointly issued a circular calling on young people all over the country to learn from Li Zhihua.
On February 14th, 1984, Li Zhihua was born in Zhaojiabao Village, Yihebei Township, Zhalute Banner, Inner Mongolia. Dad is an honest and honest farmer, and her mentally ill mother was forced to give birth to her. She also has a brother and a sister. On May 23, 1984, my father Li Guolin went out to look for a crazy wife. Li Zhihua, who was born only a few months ago, woke up and knocked down the kerosene lamp. In an instant, the kang mat and quilt burned one after another ... The ruthless fire changed her life. After the rescue, Li Zhihua saved his life, but lost his hands forever.
Li Zhihua, whose family was poor, lost his hands again. For her personally, she chose the latter, whether to obey the fate or fight against it. She believed that she could be the same as ordinary people through struggle. When my brother and sister go to school, Li Zhihua always follows quietly. The laughter on campus makes her feel that everything is so novel. She gradually learned to write with a pencil between her toes. At first, the pencil head could not be clamped tightly, so she tied the pencil and toe together with a rope. When the rope was loose, she pulled it hard. In order to write a simple "", she practiced for a whole day, and her feet were red and swollen. Winter in Inner Mongolia is very cold. Zhihua's feet are covered with chilblains because she can't wear socks, but she never grunts. In September 199, Zhaojiabao Village Primary School began to recruit freshmen. However, Li Zhihua could not enter the classroom because of her disability. She took a few bricks under her feet and quietly stood outside the window to listen to the class. Without a textbook, she memorized every word on the blackboard. Once the teacher asked a question, and none of the children in the class could answer it. At this time, Li Zhihua's crisp and accurate answer came from the window. With the help of the teacher, Li Zhihua finally walked into the classroom.
In the summer of 1998, Xiao Zhihua was admitted to Lubei No.1 Middle School, a key middle school in Qiqi. At this time, her mother's illness became worse, so Xiao Zhihua had an idea: sacrifice her studies and take care of her mother. After learning about her situation, the leaders of Lubei No.1 Middle School decided to accept her as a correspondence student and send teachers to teach Xiaohua every week. From then on, she kept on studying while doing housework and taking care of her mother. On June 7, 23, she walked into the examination room of the general college entrance examination. On August 15th, I received an admission notice from Xi 'an Eurasia College. She finally knocked on the door of institutions of higher learning with a pair of little feet.
Many units and individuals are caring for her study life. Li Zhihua also tries to repay the society as much as it can for the financial assistance given to it by the society. In September, 2, she and her sister studied in Baotou, and their daily living expenses were only 3 yuan money. When they learned that classmate Shen Huaibao was facing dropping out of school, they sent 2 yuan money to Shen's family every month. When SARS broke out in 23, my brother mailed Li Zhihua the money to sell cow dung in 3 yuan, but Li Zhihua bought the money for his classmates as protective equipment. In 24, she was named "Top Ten Learning Stars" by China Correspondence University of Logic and Language, and in the same year, she won the first prize in the Shaanxi University Student Calligraphy Competition. At the beginning of April 25, the Ministry of Education, the China Disabled Persons' Federation, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the All-China Women's Federation jointly issued a circular calling on young people all over the country to learn from Li Zhihua.
In July 26, Li Zhihua, who graduated from junior college, was hired by a company, and the company paid her 1 yuan's monthly salary. When she learned that the 13-year-old girl Mayman was suffering from leukemia, Li Zhihua credited all her first month's salary to the hospital account as the treatment expense for Mayman. Over the years, Li Zhihua has been giving painting and calligraphy counseling to the children of migrant workers. The movie "Invisible Wings" truly reflects Li Zhihua's struggle experience. Li Zhihua has no hands, just like she has no wings, but she bravely faces life and flies in life by controlling one pair of feet.
