Kaiping Pan Village Lantern Festival

Located in Pan Village, Shui Kou Town, Kaiping City, the Lantern Festival is held on the 13th day of the first month of the year to eliminate disasters and pray for good fortune. "In 2008, it was selected as one of the second batch of national intangible cultural heritages, and is said to have begun in the Ming Dynasty (January 13, 1464), with a history of more than 500 years.

On the thirteenth day of the first month, the villagers of Pan Village carry three offerings and use colorful flags to open the way.
