Watching and wanting to abandon the show! What are the reasons for the unpopularity of the domestic drama "Welcome"?

The reasons for the unpopularity of the Chinese drama "Welcome" are as follows:

1. The narrative is too slow: from telling the background of the characters and the backdrop of the story to showing the quest of the main character for the main character, the whole process is too long and the pace is too slow. Many plots can be told in shorter lengths, but it takes more time to express them. For example, it took several episodes to introduce the character backgrounds and character relationships of several of the main characters in the drama; it took more than an episode before and after Huang Xuan accompanied Bai Baihe to a year-long banquet in Qiaotou; it took most of the episode for Auntie Sun to seek out Uncle Yang; it took more than one episode for Zheng You'en's birthday; and this kind of narrative procrastination tends to make people want to fast-forward.

2. There are too many wasted strokes, suspected of flooding: the episodes celebrating Jang Kwang Jung's birthday, helping Auntie Sun find Uncle Yang, learning square dance from Auntie, and even arranging dance training could have been cut without taking so long. Especially in the expression of the inner world of some characters, the song and dance elements used in the play are somewhat artificial and redundant, which is suspected of serious flooding. Most impressively, Huang Xuan as Zhang Guangzheng danced to the score for a long time, answered by Baek Baek's Zheng You En. The scene of dancing with a chair*** didn't bring empathy, but it was so over-the-top and even embarrassing that it had to be fast-forwarded again;

3. The characters' emotional responses were over-the-top: If Zhang was stunned when he first met Zheng Youen, as if he had seen a fairy, then the escalating slow play and ambient music was used to set off his inner world because it was understandable that he fell in love at first sight, if it's too much to use that to convey the character's emotional reaction after meeting him multiple times. Surprisingly, almost every time Jang meets Jung Yoo-eun or Jung Yoo-eun gives him some positive feedback, he gets excited like he's lost his soul, even narcissistic, which makes the character seem too unreal.

4. The realistic themes are unrealistic, the inspiring expectations are uninspiring, the love at first sight misses out on a lifetime, and the chasing of love is overblown! I was expecting Welcome to the World to be an inspirational love story with a strong sense of reality, but now, I don't think there's much reality portrayed, no inspirational flavor expected, no romantic touching love story at all, and no inspirational plot to push the characters to change or improve themselves.
