Ryotsu Kanji (りょうつ かんきち)（Voice: Rasal Ishii (拉サール石井). Taiwan dub: Lin Xiezhong)
The protagonist of this work is a police officer at the Kameyu Park-mae police station in Katsushika Ward, with the rank of Inspector General. He has a flat head, big eyes, M-shaped eyebrows, lots of body hair, and wears wooden clogs all year round that were bought for him by Daijiro Ohara, the chief of the Kameyu Park Police Station. He wears his police uniform as civilian clothes with the sleeves rolled up and does not wear a police cap. He has a number of interests, such as playing video games, building models, reading manga and anime, and other bad habits such as drinking, playing pachinko, and betting on horses. He also likes to sing karaoke, but he is loud and pentatonic, and likes to monopolize the microphone, making his fellow travelers suffer every time.
Possessing extraordinary vitality and physical strength, he can even live on tree bark for a week, and even cancer cells can't invade him, and he won't die even if he is run over by a tank truck.
Money is his life's work, and he can even sell his soul for money. Even if the money is entrusted to him by other people for safekeeping or travel money at public expense, all of it will be taken by him to gamble, and the result is that he loses all his money without exception. Ranked as an inspector, he is also the president of the Nakagawa Group's umbrella company, Nakagawa Ekuscrushibu.
