Why would anyone say insurance is a scam?

When many people hear about insurance, their first reaction is to be very offended. It may be because many relatives are doing insurance, or it may be because the words of a friend always think that insurance is a scam. I summarized the following four reasons:

Reason one: feel insurance is too "bad luck", some people see the product description, either cancer or death, have not yet bought. Listen, the whole person is no longer good. We Chinese people pay attention to everything to make a fortune, buy things to celebrate, but insurance can only be used when you are sick or dead, so many people feel too taboo. Especially the older generation, the traditional concept is heavy, that buying insurance is a curse on oneself, which will lead to natural rejection. As a result, many people buy insurance for their parents and have it stolen. If discovered, it is inevitable that they will be cursed indiscriminately.

Reason 2:Unprofessional insurance practitioners breed misleading sales.Among insurance practitioners, I have met many excellent professionals, which is undeniable. However, the bar for the insurance industry is very low. No matter who can become an insurance seller, there are fresh college graduates, laid-off workers, square dance moms ...... Many people enter insurance companies. After a few days of short-term training, their business cards will be printed on the "financial adviser", they will start their own insurance business. Many people joke that there are too many people selling insurance around.

This is probably a common problem in all sales industries. Some unprofessional employees, driven by profit, may not be able to truly configure insurance from the user's perspective, which not only leads to misleading sales, but also makes people distrust insurance. It is recommended that you learn a little bit of insurance knowledge to enhance the ability to distinguish, do not take too many detours.

Reason 3:There is no uniform standard for claims, more than a decade ago each critical illness insurance claims conditions are different, not only the definition of the disease is different, diagnosis and treatment methods are also limited. For example, cardiovascular disease, according to the medical conditions at that time, it is clear that minimally invasive surgery can be carried out, but must be compensated in accordance with the terms and conditions of open heart surgery. As a result, some insurers can cover the same disease while others cannot. But the terminology is so complex and difficult to understand that it is hard for users to comprehend.

It's easy to think negatively about insurance, that it's too difficult to settle claims. But the state has once again standardized the definition of 25 highly prevalent diseases, greatly reducing similar claims disputes.

Reason 4:I'm healthy and don't need insurance Many people are naturally optimistic and feel that bad things will never happen to them. Most of these people are men. I have a fan who is convinced he will live to be 100. The reason is that grandparents and grandparents live long lives and have excellent genes ..... Also, I have found some other users in life. They have insured themselves, but what exactly are they insured for? I don't know.

Even some people think that as long as you buy insurance you should go directly to the insurance company to claim. In fact, general insurance includes medical insurance, critical illness insurance, accident insurance, life insurance and so on. Different types of insurance have different functions and purposes. I've seen users take their annuity insurance to the insurance company to claim for medical expenses. The insurance company will pay for it .....

So it's nothing new that many people don't like insurance. I just hope that as insurance becomes more popular and people become more aware of it, it can really benefit more people, and that's what keeps me going.
