During the Spring Festival, activities in Kunyang Street include: from New Year's Eve to the sixteenth day of the first month of the Lunar Calendar, all villages in the Baofeng area will hold a grand New Year's Day to receive the Buddha; all villages (communities) will hold a New Year's Day cultural and artistic performances; the Street Office will hold the fifth Basketball Games; and the first fifteenth day of the first month of the Lunar Calendar will continue to hold a lively Baofeng Tune Club.
Jincheng Township
Jincheng Township's activities include: a Spring Festival reunion at 1:30 p.m. on the first day of the Lunar New Year at the Gudian Cultural Square; a Spring Festival temple fair from New Year's Eve to the third day of the Lunar New Year at the Panlong Temple; from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the second and third days of the Lunar New Year, the township's 45 villages (communities, neighborhoods) committees and other well-known performing teams will hold a mass cultural and artistic show at the Gudian Cultural Square; the Jincheng Bazaar, Huale Bazaar and Xinjie Bazaar will also have a grand opening of the Spring Festival.
Shangjiao Town

Shuanghe Township
Shuanghe Yi Township is the place where traditional customs are best preserved and where the flavor of the year is strongest.
February 7 is New Year's Eve, and like their Han Chinese compatriots, the Yi family members reunite for New Year's Eve dinner. The Yi compatriots here have a ritual to get rid of the old and welcome the new: early in the morning on New Year's Eve, they fold the newly sprouted peach and plum branches and sweep them around the house. In the evening, the peach and plum branches will be burned by fire, put into a bowl with water, and put a small amount of food left over from the New Year's Eve dinner into the bowl, and then send the bowl out of the house at zero o'clock in the morning, which means that all the bad things in the house will be sent out of the house, and that all things will be auspicious in the coming year.
They also have a custom: on the first day of the Lunar New Year women can not be strangers, honestly stay at home to do housework or other things. On the second day of the New Year to pick up their sisters, aunts and so on back to their families for the New Year, women can visit each other, we will also set up a fire in the village, singing and dancing. The village feasts and eats with each other, pulling together family stories, and the lively activities will continue until the 15th day of the first month.
Shuanghe Yi Township also has a "Kaijie Festival", which is the most important day of the year in the area, and is held on the first market day after the Spring Festival. People dressed in festive attire, old and young converge on Shuanghe township to watch cultural performances, jumping rice-planting drums.
