Expression of Lahu Dance

It can be accompanied by elephant foot drums, gongs, etc., or by harmonica alone.

The Lahu beat song is an ancient dance that is closely related to the Lusheng dance and has formed its own system. The dancers form a circle in the yard or on the flat ground, stomping their feet to the rhythm of musical instruments, dancing, and singing while dancing. Singing exceptionally rich, there are improvisation and singing; there are flirting and teasing; there are guessing and shooting fans; there is the performance of production life; there are myths and legends and traditional stories. 1986, the United States International Folk Art Organization had this folk self-indulgent song and dance as one of the most popular "global top ten folk dance".
