East Olympics is the Central Radio and Television Administration (CCTV). CCTV is the exclusive all-media rights-holding broadcaster for the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games in mainland China and Macau, and is tasked with publicizing, reporting and spreading the Beijing Winter Olympics.

The 2022 Beijing Olympic Games will be opened on the evening of February 4, when CCTV General Channel, News Channel, Sports Channel, Olympic Channel, 4K, 8K Ultra High Definition Channel and other TV channels, the Voice of China, Global Information Radio and other radio frequencies, CCTV News, CCTV video, CCTV Sports and other new media platforms will be synchronized with the broadcasting of the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games.

Central Radio and Television Administration history

December 30, 1940, Yan'an Xinhua Radio, predecessor of the Central People's Broadcasting Station began broadcasting. December 3, 1941, Yan'an Xinhua Radio Japanese language broadcasts, the predecessor of the China International Radio Station opened. 1947 March 21, Yan'an On March 21, 1947, Yan'an Xinhua Radio was renamed Shaanbei Xinhua Radio, and on September 11, Shaanbei Xinhua Radio started broadcasting in English.

On March 25, 1949, Shaanbei Xinhua Radio moved to Peking and was renamed Peking Xinhua Radio; on September 27, Peking Xinhua Radio was renamed Beijing Xinhua Radio; on December 5, Beijing Xinhua Radio was renamed Central People's Radio.
