Emo carries people, and at a certain moment, a sudden emotion strikes, similar to "above". Therefore, the first step to deal with emo is to let yourself learn to pull away when negative emotions suddenly break out and let the emotions cool down.
This step is actually divided into two parts. The first is identification. Emotions such as sadness, anger and anxiety may be perceived as "emo", but they are handled in different ways. Only by positioning the emotions first can we better calm down the negative emotions. And then release it. There are many ways to do this, such as taking a deep breath, diverting attention, meditating, shouting and crying where no one is around, and so on.
Step 2: Change the negative way of thinking.
It is easy to get emotional, and one of the important reasons is the existence of negative thinking mode. Facing the same thing, if we look at it in a negative way, it is like adding a gray filter to the photo. This will make us see the bad side, or have negative expectations for one thing, and naturally it is easy to fall into negative emotions.
Therefore, we should learn to change the way of thinking, get a "happy" way of thinking, and adopt "cognitive behavioral therapy" (CBT for short) to change the old cognition into a new and more reasonable one.
Step 3: Sharing doubles happiness.
Finally, a secret of happiness is that "it is better to be happy with others than to be happy with one person". Happiness is contagious.
This matter has also been confirmed by research: when we share happiness with friends or important people, we get more happiness in ourselves and will get more happiness in the future. If you are emo, then find out the reason and solve it. Always believe that you are the best and be the truest yourself.
If it's family and friends' emo, cheer them up and constantly encourage them to get out of the mood of emo. Accompany, listen and give each other a big hug.
