All physical labor last, which is mental labor China has more than 3 million couriers. Who is the best among them? Dou Liguo should be nominated.
Dou Liguo is a courier brother. Before that, he worked as a security guard and chef in a restaurant, and began working as a courier in 2008. After the birth of his child, a family of three had to squeeze into a 7-square-meter hut. He felt sad and anxious. In order to give his family a better life, Dou Liguo, who is now in his 30s, didn't want to wander around anymore.
So even though it cost him months of rent, he bit the bullet and printed a hundred boxes of business cards and 10,000 small ads. At first, no one sent deliveries. He insisted on sending his business cards to the curb every morning at 8:30 a.m. and then squatted down to pick them up one by one, because many people turned around and threw them away. That way, people slowly started calling to send mail. Frantically sending business cards and delivering couriers. After a month or so, Dolittle made more than 20,000 yuan, and he was happy.
Later, he turned his business card into a convenience service card, printed on the backs of all the neighborhood businesses that offered delivery services, and people were more likely to leave the card. All physical labor is ultimately mental labor. In order to deliver in the shortest possible time, he began mapping, considering unique routes, and figuring out a "jam avoidance strategy". That way, the journey can be completed in just eight minutes, compared with an estimated 30 minutes for navigation.
Some lifelong car drivers don't know the roads. He even remembers when that road is dogged and when the square dance in the park starts. These little things make his job go smoother and smoother. When an elderly customer retired, Doliguo gave him a bouquet of flowers, and his dedication won him many iron fans. These small things are not impossible for ordinary people, but only Dou Liguo did do them and insisted on doing them over and over again.
In five years, he earned 2.6 million yuan with his own hands by courier, bought a 150-square-meter house in his hometown and a Mercedes-Benz. In Doliguo's words, "Because a lot of people don't keep trivial things in perspective, they miss out on the big things." He dropped out of high school before finishing his education. It wasn't a great start, but he earned every step he took by the sweat of his brow.
It takes better than a thousand loud slogans to reach the end goal in mundane chores. To be the best at repetitive tasks is better than a thousand unnecessary complaints. Despite the different occupations, we do not distinguish between high and low. Most of us also work in ordinary jobs. You may have high expectations when you first enter the world, but there comes a time in life when we are told: learn to be specific. Tseng Kuo-fan said, "Only the clumsy can overcome the cleverness of the world."
It is important to walk this path gradually, looking at the present, focusing on the now, and doing the little things that can be done. In the extreme, concrete living is a good thing. Fortunately, there is no talent, only persistent drip-drip-drip. There is no fantasy to reach the sky, only the accumulation of hard work.
