Beijing-Guangzhou Line. It starts from the capital Beijing in the north and reaches Guangzhou in the south, with a total length of 2,313 kilometers. This railroad crosses five provinces, Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Guangdong, and spans five major water systems, namely the Haihe River, the Yellow River, the Huaihe River, the Yangtze River and the Pearl River, making it a major artery for north-south transportation in the central part of China.
