The "Eight Old Scenic Spots of Chaozhou" are relative to the "Eight New Scenic Spots of Chaozhou". In the old days, the Eight Scenic Spots of Chaozhou were divided into inner and outer ones. The Eight Scenic Spots in Chaozhou were located between the streets and alleys of the ancient city, while the Eight Scenic Spots in Chaozhou were located on both sides of the Han River outside the city.
(1) Eight Scenes in Chaozhou: "Eight Scenes in Chaozhou" are: tide watching in the east tower, chrysanthemum viewing in the west garden, Buddhist singing in ancient temples, government bells, lotus in the afternoon, seven stars walking in the moon, Kui Pavilion in the morning Hui and Lu Di look out at night.
