- I live in Yufangqiao.
-Yes, Little A lives there too, and I heard Little B lives there too
This is Yufangqiao, one of the most amazing areas in Nanjing, where there are millionaire evictees and countless "white-collar" workers. I'm one of the so-called "white-collar" workers.
We have a grandmother downstairs who collects paper boxes. In an unintentional chat, I realized that the grandmother has two houses in Yufangqiao, which made me suffer a 10,000-point blow.
Almost every building in the neighborhood has a mahjong room, where uncles, aunts and grandparents, after a day of mahjong, go home for dinner. And at this moment, the small white-collar renter has just returned home from work. Wait until dark, downstairs in the small square, the music sounded, square dance aunts out.
This is a day in the life of the demolition tenants.
And I, every morning, riding a small yellow or blue, shivering in the driving up the battery car army, although always worried about flying accident, but do not have to be anxious to squeeze the subway this point makes me very happy. After a long day of 9 hours on the job, I'd ride back to my tiny rental house on my yellow or blue bike, take a break to prepare dinner, and then take my little rice ball out for a spin to see my square-dancing aunties at their leisure.
This is my daily two-point-one-line life.
1. Graduates of the social first station
In Nanjing is very interesting point is: graduates of the rental place, always open "bridge" word, board bridge, Tieshenqiao, Maigaoqiao, Qiaobei, a comprehensive comparison of people who live in these places, Yaofangqiao is the most cost-effective place.
Banqiao people into the city also need to take the bus to Yaofangqiao.
Tiexinqiao ten years to repair bad, the traffic is also basically blocked for ten years, although Yaufangqiao is no better.
Maigaoqiao is the earliest area to develop a concentration of rental housing, but the convenience is not as good as Yaofangqiao.
In the north of the bridge, traveling is all about line 3, and you have to transfer to Xinjiekou.
And Yaofangqiao, with two subway lines, Line 2 and Line S3, is only a bridge away from Hexi. The commercial aspect is not outstanding, but to meet the basic needs of life is no problem at all, after all, Yaofangqiao station itself is built in the Sugo and Tianmai Plaza below, and then you can spend some time to go to the west of the river in the Golden Eagle, Wanda and other commercial areas, a few people carpooling, with a coupon, convenient, fast and affordable.
Most importantly, it's easy to rent an apartment here.
From the Yaofangqiao subway station, you can see all kinds of wild landlords with small billboards pulling people to ask if they want to rent a room, and you can also find a lot of information about renting in the real estate stores lined up, and the notice boards at the entrance of any neighborhood are full of information about renting rooms.
In Yaofangqiao, in time you want to find 500 monthly rent is possible, of course, you are willing to spend 1500 to live a little better is also possible. In short, you don't have to be afraid of not being able to rent an apartment here.
So many graduates take their first steps out of school and into society from here.
And here, we may be lucky enough to meet great landlords and roommates, and spend the first one or two or even three or four years happily; or we may meet some "oddballs", who can argue about anything, look at anyone in the wrong way, never throw away garbage, and always sunbathe their clothes in the aisle, and then take the router with them when they leave the room. ......
Yufangqiao, will let us see every side of people, but also teach us the first lesson of entering the society. It is in places like this that we begin our pursuit of a better future.
2. Buses parked in the fast lane
The inflated rental market has brought with it terrible traffic. Walking out of the exit of Yaofangqiao Station, the bottom stop on Line 2, you begin to enter a small, disorganized world.
The ****ed bicycles of various colors stretch for dozens of meters on both sides of the road, like a broken rainbow being dismantled.
As soon as you stop by the side of the road, a motorcycle driver will ask you, "Girl, where are you going, do you want to take a car?" Just like the station in the last century, the voice of solicitors is endless, can not escape, can not avoid.
The Chinese style of crossing the street is not staged here all the time. You don't even have to gather a group of people to go, because the road here is always jammed, and during rush hour every car is like a crawling ant.
Even more disorganized are the buses that come and go. It is said that Nanjing bus drivers drive wildly, so the ones passing by the area around Yufangqiao are definitely the wildest, they can brake sharply without changing color when they arrive at the stop, stop straight in the fast lane, and then there will be a lot of young people trying to squeeze into these buses full of Banqiao tenants.
Then there's the cycling army, which is the wave I'm mixed up in. Every morning a few minutes late downstairs, the **** enjoy the bike in front of the neighborhood may be the only bad, choose one at random, squeaking through the sprawl of private cars and small electric donkey. Once one vehicle has a problem, it inevitably leads to a series of tailbacks that crackle like falling dominoes.
Traffic chaos, this is the first impression of Yaofangqiao.
3. A group of contradictory "mole crickets"
?
Not long ago, the Beijing Women's Illustrated Guide, starring Qi Wei, caught fire, followed by Shanghai Women's Illustrated Guide, and rumor has it that there will soon be Guangzhou Women's Illustrated Guide and Shenzhen Women's Illustrated Guide. I wondered why no one wanted to make a "Nanjing Women's Illustrated Guide".
In fact, we have a lot to say.
I spent four happy years of college in the city of Nanjing, studying, clubs, relationships, internships, entrepreneurship, my college, full, self, busier than the average person. After graduation, I chose to stay here with all my expectations and enthusiasm.
And now, it's been a year since I graduated.
This year, for me, can be described as upheaval and chaos.
In this year, I changed jobs once, and came to the current Hexi office building to do a small "typewriter". During this period I experienced the most depressed two months, relying on the boyfriend's "help" and their own frugal life, and finally in the double twelfth time did not resist opening the mouth to ask for money from the family, because I want to buy a coat. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do that, but I'm going to be able to do it," he said.
In this year, I changed four residences, excluding a month or so at my sister's house, I changed three rental houses. The first one I didn't get my deposit back; the second landlord was very nice, but for some reason I decided to take my rice ball (the teddy I have) to a different place; and then I came to Yaofangqiao. Before I moved, that landlord said, "I lived in Yaofangqiao for three years when I first came to Nanjing, and now you're back where I started."
After this wandering year, my life has finally stabilized. Now, I am in my own cot knocking on the computer keyboard to write these words, the rice ball has been lying at my feet huffing and puffing, occasionally it will be woken up, because the hallway will be far away from the sound of the takeaway boy knocking on the door, he will be vigilant staring at the door of the room, which is more or less to bring a little bit of security to me in a foreign land.
I'm afraid that only in this kind of densely populated place, even in the middle of the night, the takeaway business is still booming. The sound of a constant stream of voices in the middle of the night reminds me that I'm starting to live in Yaofangqiao, just like many other white-collar workers here.
Every day, we put on our makeup, and ride to work on the subway, bus, or bicycle with a group of people who speak in northern Jiangsu accents.
We are in the exquisite office building, in front of the computer desk, but also in the old rental house, under the dim light.
We enjoy the convenience of life in this part of Yaofangqiao, but also silently remind ourselves: come on, we must get out of here later.
We are such a group of contradictory ants, full and empty, energetic and confused.
4. Hello, Yaofangqiao! Goodbye, Yaofangqiao!
The above is my story, and the story of most of the young people who came to Nanjing. We all live in Yaofangqiao, and we have similar stories.
But how does this story end?
Some managed to shake off the clusters here and really started a decent life in the rich district of Hexi, saying goodbye to the chaotic traffic and noisy environment.
Some people are still here, two o'clock and one line, wearing a suit but chewing on the roadside 5 yuan Meijiancai bakery, looking forward to? Or confused?
And where do I end up? I don't know yet.
I've been here less than a month, I've graduated just a year ago, I've only taken a small step forward in my social life, and everything is still the same as it was at the beginning.
I was lost. I don't know how I'll end up, I don't know what kind of house I'll be living in in the future, I don't know if my current job is something I really like, I don't know if I'll continue to stay in Nanjing, I don't know ......
But at the same time, I'm looking forward to it. I know that I will continue to work hard to seek a peaceful corner of their own in this world, I know that I will continue to take big steps forward, I know that I will work seriously and live with all my heart, I know that ......
I know that: because I can not see what the future will look like, it is possible for me to follow my own imagination to build a future, a future that has the look I like.
And it begins here and now, in this tiny room in the Oil Mill Bridge.
