The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, formerly known as the Sutra Library, is located in the dense forest on the east side of Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. It was built to commemorate Mr. Sun Yat-sen, the great forerunner of the democratic revolution. The main building is 20.8 meters high, with green glazed tiles on the top and yellow glazed tiles on the roof. The center of the main ridge is decorated with a copper canopy, and the beams, columns and beams are decorated with colorful paintings.
The building houses Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s classic works and Feng’an photos and other precious historical materials. There is a 2.9-meter-high full-length bronze statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen on the flower stand in the middle of the square in front of the building. Behind the building is a 125-meter-long stele corridor, on which is engraved the full text of "Three People's Principles" written by Dr. Sun Yat-sen.

Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum is the tomb of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and Queen Ma. It is adjacent to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and Meihua Mountain to the south. The Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum is the largest imperial mausoleum in Nanjing, with a circumference of 22.5 kilometers. The 27th session of the World Heritage Committee decided to include the Ming Xiaoling Tombs and the Ming Tombs in Beijing on the World Heritage List as part of the royal tombs of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The current Ming Xiaoling Scenic Area includes the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Meihua Mountain (Valley), Shixiang Road, Xiamafang, etc.

Linggu Temple is located at the southeastern foothills of Purple Mountain and was one of the three major Buddhist temples in the Ming Dynasty. Purple Mountain has been a holy place for Buddhism as early as the Six Dynasties. During the reign of Emperor Wu of Liang Dynasty, there were more than 70 large and small temples around it.
Now there are three levels of courtyards in the temple. The west end is the Mahavira Hall. In the middle of the hall is the statue of Sakyamuni. On the left and right are Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. Eighteen Arhats are arranged on both sides of the hall. The east end courtyard is It was originally Guanjian Hall and later changed to Master Xuanzang Memorial Hall.
