"When is the spring flower and autumn moon?" It is a word written by Li Yu, queen of the Southern Tang Dynasty during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. This is a sad song of life. By comparing the sharp contradiction between the eternity of nature and the impermanence of life, the author expresses the sorrow of life failure after the national subjugation.
The language of the whole poem is clear, concise, beautiful and fresh, with questions and answers, from the question of heaven and man to the question of self. Through the intense tone and tortuous artistic structure in sadness, the author's melancholy runs through and forms a refreshing aesthetic effect.

This poem "Young Beauty" is Li Yu's desperate words. Li Yu was imprisoned in Bianjing for nearly three years, which was regarded as the third year (978) of the Northern Song Dynasty when Emperor Taizong was peaceful and rejuvenating the country.
Legend has it that Li Yu ordered a prostitute to sing this word in her apartment on the night of her birthday on July 7. When Song Taizong heard this, he ordered Zhao Tingmei, the king of Qin, to give him morning medicine to poison him.
According to records, Song Taizu has always had doubts about Li Yu, and his desire to kill quickly has a long history. This word is the direct cause of Li Yu's poisoning.
